Cube was confused for a moment. More specifically, all 3 of him were. He looked around the room he was in, and scratched his head after hearing all that Admin 7 had said.

"...I guess this is an explanation for everything that has happened, at least." Says one Cube.

"But still...there's too much stuff we don't know about why exactly we were brought here. What exactly was the point of this project or whatever?" Another Cube said, directing the question to the admin. "You say you weren't that involved in setting this up, but you should at least have an idea what Daniel's goal was if you got involved in this."

After saying this, the 3 of them just looked at the puzzles, thinking about what solutions they could have.

Marley grinned and started to arrange the "building" puzzle with glee.

"Maybe he wanted to live forever?" Clean Marley suggested "If'n I had the means to control a younger version of me den youse basically immortal" he said clearly slacking off on the puzzle solving.

"Aye, Zero didn't 'ave the guts to follow through on it though if 'e sacrificed himself at the end though." Hatless Marley added spitefully.

Shortly after making his suggestion, Marley inputs a solution for the cyan puzzle. It is accepted, and the screens and corresponding lock indicator by the door turn green. "Just one more to go! The magenta puzzle." Amber says.

"Oh! I'm terribly sorry, were you asking me?" Amber exclaims. "I'd assumed everyone would know what happened to the other players by now... Oh, but that's right, there was one you didn't know about. So, um, there was... the pool, erm, and, er, the lynching. And then there was the poisoning. Someone p-poisoned his C2 body. I don't know who, but I'm told that's what happened. That's why he, um, wasn't around for the 6th round." It's clear she doesn't like talking about this sort of thing.

Marley winced at the question while Hatless Marley sneered "Mebbe have a little sensitivity in yer questions eh? D'lad was her adopted son ah think, course she wouldn't like talkin' bout dis."

Clean Marley stroked his beard elegantly "Still, does explain a fair bit as to what happened with 'im. Was worried he 'ad like one less life or somethin'."

"Oh huh, for some reason I was under the impression he was lynched twice." Fauna scratches her head, perplexed at the memory.

Another Fauna spoke up. "About Replicate Control...maybe Zero just wanted his family back?"

[By the way, the doors to the elevators are still open. So Marley's free to go back and get his loot, and everyone is able to freely examine the elevators if they'd like.]

"Elevators only stuck on dis floor right? Not sure we can use it ta go anywhere." Marley said directing his clones to get the rest of the loot.

"Well, aye maybe thats a thing but Iota found that Dart Gun under a car and empty." Clean Marley said, decking out his already shiny(er) exterior with the jewellery that had been looted from the vault. "He thought we was still to find the darts to go with it." Bling Marley reminded Jen while Hatless Marley shifted the painting through the door with a scornful look at Bling Marley.

"Not those ones. There's a fourth elevator beyond the locked door." Amber replies. "You'll end up right next to the garage when taken to the lowest floor."

"Hmm... Actually, if you'd like I can print maps of the mansion in full. You'll see what I mean - the rooms the elevator passes through are in the top right." A few moments after saying this, two more maps print out from the control panels by the elevators.

"Near the vault area, in the Administration room, can you tell us what that big circle in the room is?" Another Jen says, following Jen #1's statement.

"How're folks doin' on dat weird pentominos puzzle now? Ah's tryin' a couple of things but ish jus' eluding me right now." Bling Marley muttered idly, clearly not trying as hard as he claimed.

"I can't g-get it either," The Trinities sighed. "I tried to fill it up in one g-grid, and then I was going to split them into two, but I couldn't figure out h-how to fill all the shaded squares... If it's any help to anyone else, t-there are 52 shaded squares and the pentanimos are 60 squares, so you n-need 8 squares that are filled in both grids. Also, unless I'm missing s-something, 'P' and 'X' must be in the top-left part, and will o-overlap 4 squares."

"The one piece of advice I have to offer is about that 'F' piece." Amber speaks up, sounding quite ready to provide a hint. "It's quite tricky, and can fit into sections you might not at first realise."

"If it helps anyone out, here's what I have going so far. The problem is it's 5 pieces on the left grid but I can't for the life of me figure out how to fit 6 pieces. I went by a process of exclusion and that's what came out, so I don't know." Jen showed her incomplete solution.

Marley sighed "Right well...ah'll stop hoping fer someone else to fix this," he muttered getting up to examine the puzzle again. "Ah could always try a guess...but ah'd definitely want some payback fer that if it comes to it." he said clearly uncomfortable with that option "Otherwise, do tha letters mean anything on the blocks?" he asked.

Bling Marley grinned "Course things might go easier if anyone 'ere 'as a spare protection coin."

[For future reference, if you put the text in "code" tags, all the characters line up exactly, making it easier to read. Though it seems to line up nicely in the preview screen as well, just not in the posted result.]

The answer is accepted, the monitors and lock indicator turn green, and the door opens. "Ah, well done Marigold!" Amber says enthusiastically. "With this, you're nearly at the end. I'm not sure what comes next, but I believe that if you can trust each other, you'll make it through! Good luck!"

Spurred on by the positive message, the many-bodied players all head towards the small side room. Just as the Marleys walk in last, carrying all kinds of loot from the previous rooms, the door shuts behind them. The players all find that they are in a room with a large incinerator at the back, in addition to an indented circle in the floor in the middle of the room - perhaps that is the elevator Amber mentioned. There are also 9 monitors lining the walls, with barriers between them similar to a voting booth; two are powered off, however. There doesn't seem to be much need to explore, as a familiar voice speaks up to explain the situation to them.

"Ah, you made it. #1 here." He sounds like he's in a bad mood all of a sudden, compared to the last time the players heard him speak. "I'm subbing in for Zero for this last Lynching Phase, so let me explain the rules for you all. You each get to cast one vote per personal clone, so everyone except Turbo gets three votes. A single vote against you means you lose a clone. However, everyone is protected by default from a single vote - to kill all 3 clones of a single player, you would need to collectively vote for them 4 times. Don't vote and I'll just have you killed anyway, so no messing around this time. Oh, and those monitors will only accept inputs from the correct players, so no cheating either. That's everything, so get to it." He finishes by dismissing the players unenthusiastically and signing off.

The players look at each other in concern, doubt blossoming as the final, more deadly Lynching Phase begins.

Marley twirled a cigarette in his fingers frustrated. "Ye wanna explain more than that? Hardly know what's required of us here. Original Zero told us that a third of us can leave. With all o' us here dat'd be about nine. Also..."

Hatless Marley gritted his teeth and interjected clearly a question on his lips "Why would ye of ALL PEOPLE..."

Bling Marley extended an arm in front of Hatless Marley cutting him off "Nah important jus' now. How's dis though...ye said that we need to vote or ye'll kill us all right? If everyone votes fer one person den the 1 vote protection would soak it right? Den no one would die right?"

"If everyone v-votes for themselves, then everyone will live with 1 life l-left..." One of the Trinities pointed out.

"I don't think there's another way t-to have everyone live.... It's a b-bit unfortunate, but I don't think we really need our extra bodies?" The second Trinity said.

"...We could also vote 'in a circle,' since then there'd be l-less incentive to cheat," the final Trinity said. "Also this t-time, if somebody cheats, we'll know who it is."

"Hardly useful to know who's the one who cheated if this is the final lynching phase." Fauna sighs. "And I regret to say, but I still don't trust all of you. It seems too easy to escape otherwise. I do think voting in a circle is still probably the best outcome anyway, it'll at least limit anybody who might wanna try to control the vote."

Marley scratched his beard "Aye maybe but whoever cheats would still have to deal with the rest of us after. Seems like a solid plan ta me." he muttered "Though whaddaya mean vote in a circle? What we should do is just agree that whenever we vote. Couple'a folks are looking over the shoulder to see folks are voting right. Ain't no point leaving it to chance."

"I'd vote for you three times, Trinity votes for Jen three times...something like that. Or I can vote for you, Trinity, and Jen while someone votes for me, X, and Y. It doesn't really matter, but we have to be mindful of Turbo because he has two lives but he also only has two votes so I guess it evens out."

Another Fauna thinks for a moment. "Yeah, but there are 20 lives between the seven of us. There are 20 votes, but each person gets 1 vote as a buffer, leaving 13 votes. So theoretically nobody would have to die as long as everybody sticks to the plan. But that's a big thing to hope for."

The third Fauna, who's never said a word, adds her thoughts as well. "Not all of us are innocent. One of us killed Iota, one of us pushed the button...we could all agree to vote for the same person. That way we're killing someone guilty instead of allowing the likely chance for someone innocent to die. Remember the other lynching phases where two people piled votes on Iota? Voting in a circle...is idiotic. That's a zero-sum game that can easily fall apart, and that's probably exactly what Zero was hoping for."
