"Matchy could've overheard Charlie's conversation in room 1, but that doesn't mean anything if she couldn't remember. So in that case, was it Sakura? I think we can trust her testimony, and she didn't mention anything of sorts…"

"Hmmm...well, to expedite things a bit, I suppose it's only fair if everybody is thoroughly searched!" Monokuma announces.

"What!" Slezak shouts. "T-That's a complete invasion of privacy."

Ryuji thinks about it. "I guess it's something I've dealt with before in dressing rooms. So I don't mind."

"...you guys can't be serious." Amachi frowns.

"Alright then." Arthur smiles. "Let's undress. Ladies first."

"A-Absolutely not!" Monomi shouts. She suddenly corrals the boys and girls on opposite sides of the room and puts up a large shower curtain between them. "Much better! Now everybody undress!"

There are sounds of unzipping and clothes falling on the floor.

"Wow, everybody has such beautiful and healthy bodies!" Monomi beams. "A teacher couldn't be more proud!"

"C-Can you just get on with it?!" Sakura yells.

"Eep! Alright!"

Monomi starts on the girls' side. "Don't forget to check every cavity!" Monokuma reminds.

"That's not necessary!" Flo yells. "We're just looking for a message..."

"Nothing to report!" Monomi announces. She then walks over to the boys' side.

"Hmm...nothing, nothing, nothing...Matthew, is that a birthmark on-OW!"

Monomi walks back to the center with a black eye. "U-Uh, I guess you can all put your clothes back on. I didn't see anything suspicious..."

Arthur walked back up to his podium, buttoning the top button of his shirt. "S-sorry about that. It was an idea. But anyway, I don't think my thought of sending a message to your future self is wrong, at least not yet. So keep a lookout for something like that. Maybe Sakura intentionally got rid of all but four of the bullets for some reason. Or... maybe we ate our message? Like it was made of paper or something? If such a message exists, there must be a way to at least prove it exists."

"I just had a thought. If Matchy wrote a note to herself, it would've been from room 1, and destroyed in room 2. So if it was say, something she overheard on the walkie-talkie, she would write it down and use the information somehow in room 2. That's Subaru's room right? Even in Matchy's testimony, she mentioned candles. Unreliable it may be, but I'm sure Subaru's room had candles at the very least. A-and the picture of room 1 had a first-aid kit. So could she have gotten a bandage, that white tape stuff, and written something on it? I-if it's touching her, then it should be transported to room 2 with her. And then, once everything's done, she could just place it up to the candle to burn it, or something like that."

"At this point… however much I don't want to believe it… yes. If Charlie was shot within the same room then Matt would've seen gun residue. So long as the rooms were moved, our shots from room 8 would have gone to room 2… where both you and Sakura were safe and sound."

Flo couldn't maintain eye contact.

"Someone had to have information about the moving rooms. Someone from room 1, where the conversation with Charlie went. And if they knew they weren't going to remember it, they'd need a way to write it down. B-but as far as I know, there weren't any pens or pencils lying about."

Flo went a bit green.

"Blood… I think they wrote the note to themselves in blood. Room 1 had a first-aid kit. They could wrap a bandage, or medical tape I guess, around themselves, dip their finger in Van's blood seeping from the floor, and write the note…"

"There's... something... a hypothesis, I guess... I'd like nothing more than to dismiss, but..." started Arthur, looking at the ground. "But I can't do it on my own. I need your help to do it. I don't know how to disprove it. To be clear, I don't believe it. Not while there's still room for doubt."

Arthur closed his eyes. "Sayako and Jay were in Room 1 when Van died. They had to have noticed the sizable bloodstain on the floor just after Charlie input the command into the joystick to kill him. Charlie may or may not announce her intentions to kill again, or perhaps that she's Zero or whatever nonsense that carries with it. Maybe Charlie's racked with guilt at causing Van's death and has foreknowledge that she's going to be in Room 5 during the next hour. But whatever the reason, Sayako gets it in her head that she needs to write a message to her future self, perhaps using medical tape from the first aid kits from Room 1. And takes the other antique gun with her."

"The note could read something like this:

"Sayako then wakes up in Room 2 none-the-wiser, until she finds the note she left herself, the gun she brought from Room 1, and discovers, with Sakura, Van's crushed corpse. This confirms, to her, that the note's contents are genuine. So she takes some bullets from Sakura by force, injuring her shoulder in the process. She then uses the joystick in her room to reconfigure the rooms so that Room 2 and Room 5 are adjacent, and then set about figuring out how to get to Room 5, to save Jay and I."

"Then Matt starts shooting from Room 8, which is also adjacent to Room 5. Sayako figures she's out of time to come up with a plan, and fires her remaining shots in the direction she knows Charlie will be. Then, she leaves the gun and the note in Room 2, and has her memory falsified by Monokuma."

"This is all conjecture work, but it explains why the move commands were input in Room 2, and explains the murder of Charlie. As well as why we don't know where the second antique gun is."

He finally looked up. "But I absolutely will not condemn a friend based on such flimsiness. I refuse to do it. So someone... anyone... give me something to disprove this..."

Arthur looked to Sayako. "Please."

"The one thing I believe to be true, are the contents of Subaru's room. If it's the case, then you could've hit Sakura in the shoulder with that hammer. "Me and Ryuji have bruises on our heads. I guess Van did knock us out… And if what Sakura says is true… then Matchy couldn't have assaulted her? What even could cause internal pain like that… And Monokuma told me the bloody bandage thing isn't the case, or at the very least, isn't provable."
