Raymond stares at Colin in silence for a moment.

"...I'm gonna ignore that last bit."

Raymond then rubs the back of his head and continues. "If I'm getting this right.. You're scared of this killing game, and want me around to keep you safe?" He then sighs. "I'm not a bodyguard. ..But I'm likely better for this job than any of the others." Closing his eyes for a bit, thinking, he eventually opens them again to speak. "What would I get from this?"

Waiting for a response, Raymond turns over to the smaller boy. "No, I don't think so either." Reluctantly, he returns the handshake, pondering Colin's previous statement about him.

His smile quickly fades and he continues speaking. "But, I'll do it the way I'm used to. Don't expect me to stay glued to you like your knight. I wont protect you if it costs me my own life, either. If this stupid game is real, then I wont dare make that mistake."

Raymond then looks down, with a rather discontent look on his face. "Any criminals who dare try something.. I'll bring them down." Back to normal, he finishes off. "Does any of that sound good to you?"

Maribelle peaked her head into the haiku geisha cafe, and saw that a significant people had gathered here. She saw the rows of her fellow students' shoes, and, after pondering the sight for a moment, removed her own black slippers and carefully placed them in line with the others'.

She approached Ohishi carefully, and spoke in a hushed tone. "Miss? I know this is yer space, so I was wonderin', if ya wouldn't mind, that is, whether I could address everyone here. Would that be a raccoon's hair too disruptive, or would you be square with that?"

But what would be our plan of action then? I cannot see any way the bear can monitor us when we are outside, but doing anything with the water is impossible because of the sharks..." Cain wandered throughout the boathouse, leaving no corner unsearched as he touched everything. Finding a metal box he was shocked when it rang out with a loud angry beep as his hand touched it. Pausing only long enough to be sure nothing would happen he felt around behind it and found thick, heavy chainlinks coming out from the back. Feeling down the length of one he determined that it connected to one of the boats. He soon discovered that all the boats were chained up in the same manner.

Continuing his search Cain was soon able to say with confidence that the boathouse was devoid of anything besides the boats, their attaching chains, and the odd box. He returned to the haiku research center as Monokuma appeared and spoke.

He rubbed his lips contemplatively as he listened. Hmm, so we won't be able to break the chains, he thought. Not that we even could, they're much too thick to be cut.

Cain retook his seat beside Azurine, thinking. "The scanner only becomes active once someone has died," he observed. "When I was in there I touched it accidentally - it beeped but didn't unlock anything. So if we want to use the boats, we have to indulge Monokuma and kill someone."

"Obviously we do not want to do that," he continued, steepling his fingers in front of his lips. "Perhaps something on the second floor will help, but there is no telling when we will be granted access there. Likely not until we obey Monokuma's wishes."

"Ah," he said after Monokuma spoke up. "So we cannot share the boats then. So they are eliminated as a means of escape."

"Nope." Monokuma started to chuckle. "My fingerprints are already registered. I can leave whenever I want. I have all 16 of your fingerprints on hand. Granting anyone access is as easy as going vegan."

He addressed Damien next.

"We have security cameras all over the island. If someone tries to be a hero and rescue you, one of the friendly gattling guns will do the trick. And the same goes for returning blackends, Upupu."
