..because...!" Florian slams his fist on his podium in frustration.
"I-I have a confession to make.." The butler gulps. "When I went to go look for some tea in the storage area, I ran into Otto..Long story short, he gave me a special bottle of 'Ottopoison' and told me that unless I wanted to see Mr. Suarez's house be blown to smithereens, I would have to use the poison to kill someone..." Florian tears up a bit. "B-but I couldn't do it! So...after 11PM, when the party was over, I decided to throw the bottle away in a trash can in the corner of the ballroom.."
He then wipes his eyes before continuing. "That's why I can't believe someone could have poisoned Jerry..." Florian pauses. "Unless...did someone swap my Ottopoison with something else when I wasn't looking...? No, there's no way.."

He sighs and takes a few moments to compose himself, then looks at Florian. "Well... thanks for telling us that, Florian." A small smile comes onto his face. "And don't worry; I'm not angry at ya. You did the right thing." After saying this, he places a hand on his chin.
"So, since he wasn't poisoned... he was probably just attacked by someone. Oh!" His eyes slightly widen as a realization comes to him. "Maybe that loud crashing noise we heard when we were cleaning up was the killer attacking him! They probably disabled the elevator somehow, so that's why it wasn't working..."

Koichi sighed. "Well, allow me to uh..."
He took a pause. "...Uh, reveal the...our investigation. We uh...looked at the roof and the blimp. And...er...there was this panel. A control panel...which allowed the user to manually control which floor the...elevigator, lands on. And there was a pulley behind it..."
Koichi nearly toppled over as he continued.
"Finally, we went on the, uh...the floating sky thing. It's, uh...the freezer...Jack went in and all the ice cream...gone. Except pistachio. It was melted..."
...
After another long and tiring pause...
"Mitzi and Jack and I...uhh, we went into the dining room. The tablecloth changed colors...used to be yellow, and now it was whiteish. A lot of the chairs changed posishun...and there was an empty minifridge."

As he was speaking he was fiddling with something in his hands. He licked it tight--a blunt. He quickly took out a lighter and lit it, blowing the smoke over his shoulder all the while. The very...obvious scent began to fill the trial area.
"Just give me a minute. I need to get in the right headspace for this. Now what was I doing yesterday?" He seemed to get more calm...and almost farther away.

"I went to the party at 9. I had a fun time by the way." He gave a thumbs up to the party setter-uppers. "Someone in a baggy hoodie and jacket was operating the DJ table. It was Bryan, I guess. But I never actually saw him under it. Florian gave me some lemonade too."
Jack took another puff, more smoke accumulating around him. "I left the party at one point, cause I was fiending. I found a quiet place in the galley by the freezer, and had some OG Spirit in the Sky. I got way too baked and was basically seeing stars when someone entered the room, I have no idea who. Then I fell asleep."
He tried to recall more. "Oh yeah, I had a crazy dream too! I was the first mate of Captain Fearbeard, and some ancient druid with one eyebrow smoked me up with some concentrated stardust which gave me enough cosmic powers to fight the Twisted Penis."
He rubbed his head awkwardly. "I guess that's it. Bryan, VAL, and Tachi-san woke me up. They told me what was going on. I guess Tachi-san already went over the investigation but I'll go over the same points for the hell of it."
-On the rooftop there was a control panel that allowed you to operate the elevator from the outside. Moving it, opening the doors, etc.
-There's a rope pulley on the back of the elevator.
-Inside the blimp, the freezer didn't have any ice cream tubs. In a nearby wastebasket there was an empty tub of pistachio.
-In a corner of the hallway Mitzi found a deep scratch curling it.
-In the dining room, a table cloth apparently changed color. Yellow to white/beige.
-Mitzi also observed that the chairs were positioned differently from the initial setup.
-Jerry's room was locked.
-The minifridge was plugged in but empty.
"I think that's-" Jack suddenly burst out into a fit of coughing as he pulled on the blunt again. "-it. That's it."

After the dramatic line he chilled out again. "The killer is...the one whose house blew up. Cause there's a pain in not knowing, y'know? The house didn't show anyone dying, but it didn't show anyone not dying. So we don't know if anyone died, and the killer wouldn't know either. But now they have to escape to know. Because it's one thing to think your house is gonna blow up, but it's another thing to have your family not be dead and not know, y'know? And since they haven't spoken up yet, that means they don't want us to know they are."

"Yesterday at 8 PM…well, that idiotic ecoterrorist told you about that. It was quite disappointing, honestly. We captured that nervous wreck of a nuclear engineer and tied her up, and left- locking her there in the process. Now where's the art in that, I ask you? Then at 9 PM there was that abhorrent mess of a party. Me and the Puke Professional got bored of being there and started to leave when that trashy novelist showed up." He pointed at Circe. "She took us to a side room in the 42nd floor and locked us in, the idiot! It was a crazy stunt, supposed to make us "fall in love" or some similar guff. Anyway, we simply argued over who would take the remaining bed- it was her, unfortunately. Then we both went to sleep till 5:40 AM today, when Circe woke us up. We berated her some more like she deserved and exited. Of course, that Scandalous Sorceress seems to have inadvertently helped us- our alibis are both rock solid." He chuckled confidently. "No more voting for me now, charlatans."

"During the party, while in the lounge, Irene saw something fall past the window. That probably wasn't Jerry, since he couldn't have reached the building. But maybe it was the killer? Using the pulley? That could narrow down the suspects if they came from above...actually, she probably wasn't able to get to the roof cause the killer was maybe by the control panel? Anyway I like the doctor's slingshot theory to explain some of the strangeness."
