If Otto had gorgeous blonde hair, he'd be pulling it out with all four of his arms. "Because you lot were saying that Kyle would become a human popsicle just by walking through the bloody room for five seconds! Of course the room isn't just a glorified freezer! It can reach high and low extremes, but the default is room temperature because it would hardly do to walk in and get incinerated instantly because some yahoo left the temperature too high! "Well... the warning could only really be for something in the decontamination room, or perhaps the reactor itself, I think," Keri opined. "If it is not the vents, that is. No other room had much in the way of systems to break down, especially not systems that the nuclear reactor control room would be monitoring. So, then... the decontamination room manual says to keep combustible items out of it. If someone brought in, say, something made of paper, that might trigger a warning? And then the paper did indeed combust, thus resulting in the item Kyle went to the decontamination room to fetch."

And when I woke up in the bathroom, the door was still jammed so I don’t see how anyone could’ve taken it even if they were in there from the start.” He frowned, thinking. “I guess the smoke was also gone from the bathroom when I woke up but I assumed that was just the vent.”
