"I don't live with my family, no. I live pretty far away too, actually. And, well." She pauses for a moment. "He put them in three machines, is the best way to describe it, I think. There were two buttons for each machine, a green one and a red one. You can guess what each one does. He gave me the choice to either save all of them, two of them, or just one. I just pressed a red button, that's about it."

"Alright then... I'll turn on the power to the elevator, so you all can get to progress further into the game." Zero says as the elevator door open. "Please step on the elevator when you're ready and then we'll go on to the next round."

The players look at each other, then at the elevator, and then at each other. It seems like nothing more can be discussed at this point, so it's probably time to move on. They shrugs as they made their way to the elevator. They got on the elevator and discovered that the elevator is one of those 2100's electromagnetic elevators capable of floating.

The elevator door closed, and then the elevator started moving, bringing the players further into the game. What could possibly await them beyond this point? What secrets could the players uncover? Will they ever reach the end? Then the elevator stopped moving, and the door opened, revealing a hallway. The players filed out into the second hallway.

Unlike the first hallway they went through, this hallway have.... 4 doors. 3 of them have a electronic screen next to each one. On one wall, there appears to be another message written in red paint. It seems that the message is different from the first message that the players have encountered. The 2nd message reads: "Interviewers fetch foam emblem."

The players then took a look at the electronic screens to see what the messages are.

.... Wait, this is almost like the first set of doors, except this time, they're asking for... digital root? As the players pondered over what this could mean, Zero speaks up.

"Some of you may be familiar with digital root. Some of you may not be familiar with digital root. It doesn't matter if you know digital root or not, so allow me to explain digital roots. You all may be familiar with the numbers that are on your bracelets, correct?" Zero asked, then keep talking, even if no one have gotten a chance to speak up.

"As you can see, 1 to 9 is a single digit. Add up those numbers involved, like how you would do basic math. In the event if there's a number that contains two digits, add the tens digits and the ones digits to one another. Keep adding them up until you get a single number. That single number is the digital root. It may sounds confusing but allows me to show you what I mean." Zero says as on one section of the walls, a panel slides up, revealing a electronic screen. The electronic screen turns on, displaying something on its screen.

The players got to get a good look at the screen to get a better understanding of what Zero is talking about.

"Does this make sense to you?" Zero asked as the electronic screen turns off, and the panel slides back into place. Assuming everyone understood digital root, Zero continues to speaks. "Well then, I'll leave you all on your own to decide. Decide which doors you want to go into."

"Sounds alright to me", Dee said. "Staying together with my mom is always a plus, and Virgo... there's something really, really satisfying about hearing this much swearing about a completely deserving target. Especially when the person swearing knows how to do that. Some of my classmates swear all the time to look cool, and it just doesn't sound nearly as interesting... they have a lot to learn from Virgo. And it's also nice that Blaze and Psi get to be together for this round, too. I'm sure Psi will appreciate that."

"So, the proposal with the most vote is.... Pitt's proposal. Sorry, Mama Bear." Zero declared after a long awkward silence. "Please split up into your groups and stand by the doors."

Peri, Dee, and Virgo stands by the 'Odd Digital Root' door. Blaze, Psi, and Jupiter stands by the 'Even Digital Root' door. Pitch, Sin, and Deux stands by the third door, which they have long since have nicknamed the 'Rest' door, as they feels it sounds just right.

"As it seems, everyone have fulfilled the door requirements successfully. I'll open the doors, and you know what to do next, correct?" Zero says as the doors open. The players look at each other before they stepped through the doors. Shortly afterwards, the doors closed, locking the players in their rooms.

"Good luck in your rooms, players." Zero says.

((Triple post, oh noes! I'll get into trouble for that!))

The doors open and the players steps out back into the hallway. The other players can swears they can hear the music coming from one of the doors. But unfortunately, the doors closed before they got a chance to go check. Everyone seems to be fine.... Except for the Odd group, as Dee looks to be crying, and Virgo is carrying a unconscious Peri. Why is Peri unconscious? Did something happen in their room? Virgo finds a spot and carefully puts Peri down, making sure she's sitting upright.

"Oh-ho.... I'm impressed that you all made it out of your rooms. I bet there's quite a lot to discuss now that you found some stuff worth talking about. Now then, I'll leave you all on your own. Discuss away." Zero says.

The players looks at each other. There was indeed a lot of stuff to discuss, but the most pressing issue is... Peri. It seems like Virgo and Dee have some explaining to do.

Virgo finishes putting down Peri, standing up and looking over to Psi, wincing slightly at the shout. "No, she's... fine, I think. She fucked up and put in a wrong solution to a puzzle, so she got shocked and now she's unconscious. Still alive, though."

"S-shocked..?" Psi paled. "Dear me, that sounds like a horrifying punishment... All for a puzzle at that. We... we need to be more careful next time. But, um... what were your rooms?" She asked the others. "Ours was some kind of a doctor's office... W-we didn't find t-too much, though." She gulped. "There were some X-Rays there, and also a plastic ID. The ID apparently belonged to one of the security guards who lost their lives in t-the incident. But, more importantly, we managed to find this."

She held up a small key. "I-I'm pretty sure it goes in the other door... same as last time, I guess... Though if it's going to be the same as Virgo's was last time, I'm not sure if it's worth opening."

Dee tries to calm himself down at least a little. It doesn't work too well, but, at the very least, his words are now legible, if occasionally interrupted with held back sobs.

"Our... our room was actually really cute. All the scarier to see these puzzles are actually dangerous if failed... everyone, be careful with these! Double, triple-check your answers... the room was called "Flower Dance Party" and looked like a garden. There was this... thing with plastic flowers in it, all of them holding little toy musical instruments. There was a stereo nearby and we had to find some batteries and a CD with some music on it. We turned it on, the flowers started moving as if they danced to the music and... the door opened."

"We also found a newspaper article, about the... robbery on New Leaf Bank..."

With shaking hands, Dee took out the article, only to realize that the combined stress of his mom still being unconscious and being reminded of the bank robbery was too much for him.

"S-s-s...-sorry, I'm in no shape to read this..."

Dee leaves the newspaper article on the floor, so that someone else could pick it up and read it out loud. Instead of reading it himself, he turned back to Peri.

"Mom... wake up..."

"Fine, I'll do it. You just sit down next to her and take a break." Virgo crouches down and picks up the newspaper, clearing her throat.

"Robbery at New Leaf Bank! Two dead, several injured!" She pauses for a short second, "The New Leaf Bank was robbed by two masked men! They stormed the bank and... uh, help the place up? That doesn't make sense, but whatever... As I was saying, three security guards tried to stop the robbers, but this resulted in a shootout, leaving two of the security guards dead and one injured. Still looking down at Peri with concern he muttered "Seems like that robbery is integral to why you are all here. I can't figure out why whoever it is would bring you or your mother here though Dee. You two were just civilians there on the day right?"

Virgo looks pretty unconvinced. "It doesn't say anything else. The only mildly interesting thing is that this shit happened five years ago, which is a whole lot of time. Basically, we were kidnapped because of something that happened five years ago? And it's not like a bank robbery is this huge thing that makes you kidnap nine random-ass people, is it?"

Dee's attention is still fully focused on Peri otherwise, but he does notice Virgo stumbling on one word in the article.

"I... I think the article has a typo. Probably "held the place up", not help. Then it makes sense. Still not sure why this would be connected to just a bank robbery. Besides, Blaze is right. Even if others might have connections... we were just civilians. Horrible, horrible day... Blaze, I don't think Zero will wait for Peri to wake up. Even if she's still unconscious by the time the next round starts... she needs to be carried into whatever room she gets to be in."

"Oh, yeah, forgot to mention. This happened five years ago, and right now it's 2115, so the whole bank robbery thing happened in 2110. No clue if someone else saw the date here somewhere, or anything with that on it, but it's worth a shot."
