"That makes sense, but to me it only paints more suspicion on Klifford." Benjamin crossed his arms upon hearing Seb's theory. "Why would Ciro go through the trouble of stealing it instead of asking for it? Why wouldn't Klifford mention what was stolen? Then again, if Klifford is guilty, why write down something he wanted to keep secret? But why would Ciro burn up the information if he was innocently using it for reference?"

He then remembered that this was Ciro they were talking about and suddenly felt like he was answering some of his own questions.

Haley tilted her head like she was listening to someone. "Uh-huh? Yeah. Yeah, I'll tell 'em."

She then looked at Seb. "Nail wants you to know that you're right. There were signs that tests had been performed, but no results on said tests. Also, the medicine room had been extensively searched through. No clue what all the ransackers took. All that was left was generic painkillers."

What if it meant that someone else did indeed have a way to save her: Klifford, knowing about panacea, was the only person here who did actually, at least in theory, have a way to cure Shizune.

"However, why didn't the ball predict Ciro's death? Maybe... it's because this prediction that Shizune would die is what then caused Ciro to die. This prediction is what caused Klifford to start trying to make panacea, which is what caused Ciro to find out about it and then led to his death."

"Er, well, I'm not so sure about that part myself," Seb replied awkwardly. "I still think Klifford was the one trying to use panacea to cure Shizune after finding out that she was dying and there was no other cure. Then Ciro stole his research notes for some reason, one thing led to another and somehow he was killed, by someone that isn't necessarily Klifford. And probably isn't Klifford, I doubt he'd kill anyone."

"I find it strange that Klifford would find out about a medicine that needs to be carefully prepared from pufferfish, and wouldn't think to tell Ciro about it." Benjamin opined. "What the brat said, dont think the doc's dumb enough to leave anything about a medicine he dont know how to make out for someone to accidently poison themselves with unless it was ment to trick someone into making poison."

"I have to agree..." Oliver remarked, his head still spinning from everything going on around him, especially Nail becoming a woman who was the polar opposite of him. "I highly doubt he would kill anyone, either. Though I suppose anything is possible. Perhaps his notes were just stolen, or... or something. I don't know."

But, I don't really think she'd do that," he concluded, frowning. "Or I suppose it's possible Klifford sent messages via Bruce while Shizune was asleep, typed up on Claudia; whoever was at the other end would even think Shizune is the sender. But again that doesn't sound right to me."

The group throws around ideas, eventually, they decide on the following:

SCRUM DEBATE: DID KLIFFORD INTEND TO POISON SHIZUNE?

Daniel looks down at the others, "Heads up, maggots! Who here is gonna be on the right side of history! Klifford tried to poison Shizune! He's been the one looking after her, but this whole time he's been keeping her sick! He's been plottin' to pick her off!"

He cranes his neck threateningly at the friendly doctor.

Brandy pounds he hand against the stone in front of her, "No way! Shizune would know that he was doing somethin' to 'er! This ain't that simple, let's throw down!"

Team Klifford Intended to Kill Shizune:

Daniel, Matt, Haley, Benjamin, Nail perhaps?

Team Klifford Had No Intention of Killing Shizune:

Brandy, Sebastian, Micah, Ivan, Oliver

Klifford stands in the middle, clutching his notes nervously. Shizune doesn't look like she wants to argue about this.

Daniel: "Klifford must've told Ciro about the Panacea, otherwise, Ciro would be in the dark! Klifford never released any information to us about this!"

Brandy: "Ain't it possible that Klifford just didn't talk about issues of Shizune's health like the Panacea publicly? He wouldn't want to get everyone's hopes up for nothing. Ciro probably ransacked the room to find out about it!"

Matt: "Aw, I ain't buyin' that shit. Klifford probably made Shizune sick since she fell in the lake. She's been all screwed up since then, hasn't she?"

Sebastian: "I don't think so. Klifford would have needed poison to do this to Shizune. We only found the medicines here after that point. You're suggesting that Klifford had to have poisoned her right after we got here, but there were no opportunities like that. Shizune's sickness is natural."

Haley: "Hey isn't that medicine that Klifford gave to Shizune really fucked up? It's probably killing her faster. Her heart's probably failing as we speak. There's no way it's helping her."

Micah: "I read the label on the bottle, and it looks like it has a chance of making things worse for her, but it's clearly also intended to help make her better. Maybe Klifford has just been getting more and more desperate while treating her? It's way more likely that Ciro did it."

Benjamin: "Look we can talk about the hypotheticals, but it's doubtless that Klifford is in a big position of power knowing all of those medicines. Maybe Shizune had a natural sickness, but regardless, she was under Klifford's control after she came in there. He could have poisoned her while she was asleep and nobody here would have any idea.
