Dale finally lifted his head to see what was now in his hands, he saw a heavy bottle of booze now in his hand, his eyes squinting at cups.

"Well im sure its best when drank straight from the bottle and the bartender cups knows exactly how to do his job." Dale took a small drink from the bottle and with that his head immediately went violently down into the bar table not crashing only due to the hardhat he wore on his head.

"Thanks for your concern!" He smiled again.

Great Dragon's eyes were widen open when Dale took a small drink of Everlast. "Dios mío! That stuff's quite strong!" He looks at the cup of licuado in his hands, then he looks at the bottle of Everlast. And finally, he looks back at the licuado.

"Well, guess Great Dragon will stick with licuado for today..." Great Dragon said to no one in particular as he takes another sip of the licuado.

Adel stuck his head through the door. He was away for some time, so he didn't know where everyone was.

"Oh, everyone is drinking," he said to himself, before wandering over to the others. "I've never had one of...uh, these drinks, before."

"She is rotting in Hell with her mother, do not worry," he assured her. He tried pouring tomato juice into a cup, but he got too frustrated and threw it on the floor. "I have seen things, Ms. Colyer. She decided to remain quiet for once, sipping her rum and Coke with a thousand yard stare directed towards the surface of the bar.

Jenny suddenly smashed a beer bottle over Cups’ head.

“Listen you bucket of bolts,” she shouted, “Would you mind letting me do my damn job? If Hugh finds any excuse not to give me my paycheck, he’s gonna take it!”

She put several bottles on the counter and started mixing Max’s drink. “Geez, I don’t know why they decided to let a dyslexic person sort those bottles...”

"Yes, mistress Jenny..." Cups said, looking dejected. He stood awkwardly off to the side and began picking up all the broken glass while Jenny did her thing. For a robot, he seemed pretty embarrassed.

“There, that’s better...” Jenny mumbled, letting out a sigh of relief.

She mixed up an aquamarine cocktail adorned with a cherry in a glass then looked back and forth through the bar.

“Where’d that weirdo run off to, anyway? Ehh, I’m sure he’ll find it eventually.”

She slid the glass down the bar dismissively. It stopped at the end, jutting halfway off the edge.

The very first thing Sam did when given leave to enter the hotel proper was rush to his room, where he carefully pored over his collection of books, figurines, maps, and, most importantly, notes and plans, before he nodded to himself. In private, his expression was calm, quiet, almost... happy.

But then he supposed he would have to people for a while, and by people he meant "sit in a corner and scowl angrily to himself like an arrogant cock goblin". Which he did, after navigating past the slots (not really his thing; games that relied on pure chance and didn't involve stacking the deck as much as you could in your favor did not interest him) and the broken glass (bleeding was NOT on his to-do list for today), he had joined the rest of the group at the bar area.

He had chosen to leave behind his coat, and underneath it he wore a black and white striped shirt, his knee bouncing up and down as he considered his drink options.

"I'd prefer something non-alchoholic, but that might not fly here... so should I go with the soda one? That might not be a bad choice..."

Max was too busy celebrating about his own minor victory to notice Ramon pissing himself and Myrion becoming the entire circus momentarily. As things had calmed down, he returned back to the bar just in time to see that his drink had actually been mixed. "Aha! It's ready!" He glided towards it and swooped it from the table, spilling a little as he did. He hardly seemed perturbed by it however, taking a large sip of it. "This is pretty fortunate, I've gotta admit! The gods must be smilin' on ol' Max today! Here's to more money!" He cheered triumphantly, taking another sip. "Ah, the White Whale... what a drink, y'know? You've gotta love it! No wonder Captain Ahab wanted this so badly, right?"

His ramblings were interrupted as Sam entered the bar. "Hey, pal!" He waved in a friendly manner, hardly noticing that the dungeon master was in his usual grumpy state. "You're the dungeon master guy, right? I've actually been meanin' to ask... is that supposed to be literal or summin'?" He took another sip from his drink. "Gosh, I've gotta say, never thought taking care of dungeons in this day n' age would be so profitable... Feels more like a medieval type of occupation, y'know?" He gave a slight grin as he took a seat near Sam, interested in hearing more.

"Well, you're not wrong in that it's a more medievel type of occupation," Sam answered slowly, eyeing the... character up and down. I should find out more about this guy... maybe I can use him in a campaign... "But it's the more figurative in this case. What I do is run a tabletop roleplaying game that some would recognize colloquially as DnD, or, to say its full title, Dungeons and Dragons because it's hard to come up with a unique name. I happen to be the best in my field, with a rotating table of players from all over."

Devin walks into the bar after being rather out-of-sight for a while. She carries a clipboard with a couple of pages of notes on them and slaps it on the bar aggressively before taking her seat. To the others, it's clear that she had been jotting down results from the slot machines, trying to find a pattern in them, but for all the math on the sheet, she didn't come up with anything.

She cocks an eyebrow at Sam and Max's conversation.

"Oh seriously? I'll be honest that judging from all your bags I thought you were the master of a real dungeon and had brought in like chains and shit. I mean in retrospect it's kinda stupid that I thought that, but also calling yourself the ultimate dungeon keeper or whatever is a different kind of stupid."

"Not to say that DnD is like too nerdy for me or anything. I played it once and liked it. Wouldn't it be kinda boring if you weren't playing alongside your best friends though? That rotating player thing seems lame."

"Ohhh, I get it now!" Max gave a short laugh. "So you're a board game guy, huh? That's a pretty dramatic way to present yourself as, isn't it, pal? I mean, nobody's gonna judge, there's already a gamer gal and a chess player in this group..." He took another sip from his drink. It looked as if the drink was starting to show his effects on him a bit. "Saaay, pal, you should try some other board games out too. Better a jack of all trades than a master of one, y'know? I've got a loootta fun stuff in my collection. Stuff that most people probably've never seen in their entiiire lives. And lemme tell ya, my prices are like you've never seen before! He cocked his head towards Devin. "Oh, ya've played it before too? Heh, maybe you two could bond over this! Sounds like a fun time. Maybe we could have a round with all of that to see how it goes. "You'd usually have a point," Sam agreed, templing his fingers. Compared to his usual scowl, he seemed... alive. "But with a rotating table, you always have to be on your toes. Different players think differently about the same situation, and sometimes they even push in directions you never would have even considered had they not gone that way." He thought for a moment. "Well, once they're done being murder-hobos. That tends to be a recurring theme.

"I'd say I find more enjoyment in playing the same scenarios with a different table rather than continuing a single scenario with a single table, to put it simply."

"I do hope you at least let your customers see the game and understand how it's played before you sell it to them." Sam shook his head, crossing his arms. "Besides, being the Ultimate Dungeon Master can and does apply to other games beyond DnD. It's just easier to tell people I only do DnD and not other similar tabletop games."

He considered Max's proposition, a thoughtful frown coming over his face. "A new game, huh... can't say the idea is a bad one. But, uh..." He cast a critical eye over their current group. "Your party's a little small. You might want one, maybe two more players if you want to keep it a small party and have a decent spread of skills, ideas, and archetypes. You always could run it with two people, but that's a little... hard."

Woody wanders over to the Main Room, and stares at the luxurious decor around him. He then stops in front of the Hugh statue and tilts his head upwards to get a better view of it. "Heh, look at this dude." Woody says, giving the statue a small poke.

Having become increasingly terrified of the friendly drinks robot, Ramon chugged his drink like his life depended on it. His hand worked its way under his top to grab the relic again. Jenny's arrival was, after all that, a blessing: at least she didn't seem like she'd get violent. Well, too violent, Ramon hastily amended as he remembered how she'd smashed a bottle just to spite Dale.

He quickly took refuge in something else that was happening. "D&D? I love D&D! I've made so many characters. Tom, the lowly farmer who was destined to become a god; Trixie, the elven vixen who was really the sole survivor of an ancient race, carrying the power of both angels and demons within her; oh, I can't forget Jasmine, the beautiful warrior princess from another realm, who had power over time and space, and whose clothes were possessed by the ghost of a king so they could detach and fight by themselves!

"I've never experienced a 'rotating table' though. There aren't many of us who play where I'm from to begin with, so it's always the same crowd." That would probably explain why the other players always let Ramon play, if there were no alternatives.

Jenny wasn’t entirely sure what Sam meant by ‘the soda one,’ so she decided to pour at least five kinds of alcohols into a half empty Sprite Cranberry that had been left in the fridge since last Christmas and place it on the table in front of him.

“D&D? Isn’t that the game lonely nerds play to feel better about themselves?”

She shrugged. “Ehh, I’m in.”

Great Dragon have been silently enjoying his licuado while he listens to the small group discuss DnD.

"Ah, do you guys mind if Great Dragon can partake in a round of DnD?" Great Dragon asked as he inched closer to the group. "Great Dragon have nothing better to do other than exercise and practice some wrestling. Great Dragon certainly can give this DnD a try."

Great Dragon takes another sip from the licuado. It seems like he's certainly enjoying his time.

"No, what the hell's wrong with you?" Devin scoffs incredulously, "I mean sorry if I'm making a big deal out of this, but that just sounds purposefully ignorant."

"I think it's a really good game. It helps people work as a team and builds bonds between them. It improves a lot of social soft skills. I think pretty much everyone here would like it."

"It's funny though that the Great Dragon is already bored at a multi-billion-dollar resort complex and real estate investment. I'd just like to point that out."

"Do you sell a portable wrestling ring?" Ramon asked Max. "Maybe something inflatable?"

He paused for a moment, before hastily adding in one breath, "If those don't exist yet I'm patenting it it's my idea!"

"Inflatable wrestling ring, huh?" Max scratched his chin. "Now there's an idea, kiddo. At most though, I have a few balloon animals in my inventory. And a helium tank, if that counts! Sadly there's a limit to what fits in my bag... Come to think of it though, would that idea even fly? Wrestlers are kinda strong fellas after all, they could end up deflating the entire ring just exerting their pressure on it."

upon hearing the audacious idea of an inflatable ring Dales head shot up. his cheeks were slightly red.
"An inflatable ring? did someone speak of nonsense that would inevitable pop and cause combatants in an arena to smash themselves into the ground leaving them forever crippled all because someones half baked idea to make such a useless idea a reality? what the hell sounds like an amazing idea!"

Dale got up and moved towards the discussion the others were having. "So you want the idea to be a reality, lets get to seeing if we can make such a moronic thing a reality!" Dale was still drunk and had no idea he was as such.

Deirdre slammed the door to the bar open like it was some old western movie. Except instead of a cowboy, she was a chess player. And if she were a cowboy, she would look like a very depressed cowboy, which aren't a staple of westerns. This is where the simile starts breaking down, so I'll just outright say she lost a load of money at the slots, but making a whole other post just to set this one up would've been awkward, so here we are.

"Hey, uh, bartender? Can you make a Hemingway champagne? I could use one right about now." she said, sitting down at the bar.

"Great Dragon prefers the REAL deal; an actual wrestling ring!" Great Dragon exclaimed, as he places the cup on the bar counter before he slams an fist into a open palm to get the point across. "An inflatable wrestling ring would totally not work out well with the professional wrestlers. But if it was for wrestling-loving kids, then that certainly could work!"

When Dale speaks up about the inflatable wrestling ring, Great Dragon waves an hand dismissively. "Don't mind Dale. He have too much to drink... You should have seen how quickly he went down after taking a drink from the bottle of Everlast he was given!" He chuckled before he takes another sip from the licuado.

"Anyway... A actual wrestling ring can withstands a lot of abuse from the wrestlers." The wrestler added on.

"Isn't wrestling super dangerous? Like it's basically just a stunt show, right? You have to train for years to stay safe while doing it, and you still get seriously hurt all the time. Though maybe that's just what I know from like WWE and trashy stuff like that."

Devin glances at Deirdre, "Oh hey, what's up? Seems like you've had a bummer time so far. Sorry about that. I haven't even tried but seeing the look on most people's faces, I don't know if I will."
