Yes, that's Golden Sun 2 artwork. There's always a chance however they're reusing artwork, especially if the version of Golden Sun 3 on display is early... Of course there's an equally high chance that it's fake...

Yeah, it's fake.
It's on a desk like that (supposedly) because it was a small, pre-E3 demonstration. It wasn't actually announced (if it was announced) at E3.

Opium, an administrator over at GBAtemp, is apparently the creator of that title screen image (Post #57 of this topic pretty much confirms it). Whether Opium spread it himself under the gobo name, or if it was unintentionally spread by someone else who received the picture, is currently unknown, since all of the GBAtemp admins are being rather coy about the issue.
At this point, I think it's safe enough to declare this rumor to be 100% fake.

Eclipse does more damage and uses less djinni, and still, my lead party died even after spamming all of their summons.
But my backup lived.

I also dug up some good fakes... ahhh well.
It's a shame really, it's one of my FAV games. I've completed it... 8 times? lol. 2nd one about 4 times. I was replying it last week too!

Of course itbeing the first video game I played I previously believed it was the most original and greatest thing in the world...It's not as exciting now, but I still think that if all these new rpgs were more like Golden Sun, my gamecube and DS would be much happier...*sigh*

Basically it's Golden Sun: Now With a Boat!
It's the same style of gameplay and you get to go from the other character's POV. But you get a boat.
I personally think it's worth it just to tie up the storyline.

I don't know why I liked both games so much - it was mostly unoriginal and the new things it had, it didn't do as much with as it should have. Somehow, though, I had fun. Which is the important part.
