I just enjoy images of teh buttsechs, personally. I think all the terms and roles and politics is simply justification of male/male relationships.
Not that there's anything WRONG with that, it just seems more confusing then it needs to be. >.>

To be honest, I'm not sure what you're trying to say here. Terminology is used to make things easier when discussing something. We could use "person who goes and argues against the idea of someone being guilty in a court of law" or we could just use "lawyer". If you don't know what "lawyer" means, it might be confusing, but that doesn't negate the usefulness of the term itself.
If you're trying to say that "lol you're making things too complicated"...complicated is fun. I like discussing these nuances. I like coming up with various scenarios and imagining how the characters would react. I like mapping things out, trying to get into character's heads.

Eh, assmuning that I'm thinking of the right process, I think it's better if you don't directly link to the picture. I've heard of people getting banned from dA for directly hotlinking images from various users' galleries.

I am undecided on Edgeworth based on what I've seen in the games so far. I can't decide if he would have ever been allowed to think about anything but law without getting whipped ... which does make for interesting questions about his associations and tastes as a result - heh!
I'm inclined to think that having been starved of affection and a normal upbringing for years on end he'd attach himself to anyone who could get past his issues to deal with his feelings and not sure that gender would come into it. I think he and Franziska in fact are in the same boat which is why they can relate to each other differently than to others. I'd say asexual but that's not really what I mean. Hm. Maybe opf the "I'd rather have a nice cup of tea" camp until someone can come along and deal with the baggage, I guess, and at that point the identity of the other person would become something of an irrelevance if that makes any sense whatsoever.
Rather amusingly to folks here, probably, I've viewed Phoenix as the definite Big Gayer since I played the first couple of cases - either that or he's mindbogglingly weird about his dealings with sexy women/flirty women/attractive women. He reminds me so much of one or two guyfriends from my past. Heh.
(I have absolutely no opinion on the uke/seme issue as I think it's a fictional construction and yes while I realise that we're discussing fictional characters I still don't like feeling they have to be forced to *act* like fictional characters in prose.)

Well, let's keep in mind that Miles's formative years were spent with a good, loving father, while Fran's were not. That, I think, is enough to distinguish the two in my mind. In that respect, I can't see him latching on to someone indiscriminantly. If all it took was someone who "wanted to understand and help", he and Gumshoe would have been married with ten kids by now.
Hmm, he gets a little flustered, but I've never noticed anything out of the ordinary that makes me think "gaaay" like I do Edgeworth. I guess the difference, to me, is that I think Phoenix gets flustered because he's attracted to them, while Edgeworth gets flustered because they're attracted to him. Which is why I tend to see Phoenix as the "selectively gay" one and Miles as the "lol raging homo" one.

Well, it's obviously a reference to his fangirls. But look at the words he uses to decribe women who could possibly be attracted to him. "Frothing" and "female masses" aren't exactly positive indicators, and don't speak of him finding women attractive himself. It would have been simple enough to have him say "...am I really that popular?"

My opinion is that, Miles Edgeworth definately have the homo-vibes. He doesn't seem to be interested in any females. And from the looks on some cases, he seems to show his weaker sides towards Wright and Gumshoe. As much as I think Miles and Gumshoe looks like a newly-wedded, Wright is definately the man for him.
Dear me, why have I talked about pairings now.
My apologies, back on track, I think Miles might be a bi? If not, then he's gay, and he's the stubborn type as to deny the fact.
