Description: Maya and Maggie are accused of murder, and Phoenix must defend them. Phoenix is able to prove Maggie's doubt beyond any shadow of a doubt very early. Phoenix is able to prove that Hotti had at least some hand in the deed quickly as well. However, Maya is still being charged with three counts of murder. Phoenix clears Maya of the murders of Edgeworth and Gumshoe because Hotti cracks and confesses. This leaves the murder of Franziska unaccounted for. The three-day trail ends before Maya can be cleared of the third murder. She spends four months in jail before Phoenix can prove her innocence. Phoenix becomes depressed because he let Maya down, and gives up law.

It all links back to SL-9 and DL-6 somehow so this is an epic case with flashback investigation phases and flashback trials interspersed. Also warning HEAVY ON THE SPOILERS
Don't read if you haven't completed Ace Attorney 1
Opens with Odoroki examining old case files. He stumbles and reads the summary and then finds SL-9 and does the same. He then gets a call from Minuki asking him to defend some famous prosecutor. You go down to the detention center he gives his name to you as Mr Smith. He looks kind of familiar to the viewer but it may not have clicked yet. You converse and he doesn't give you much information. You go to the crime scene and meet Ema Skye, she mentions she knows the defendant. You ask more, she mentions how he disappeared just over six years ago. You get given an autopsy report of the victim, the victim is... none other than Kyouya. WHAT! Apparently he met the defendant for some reason and was shot, he isn't dead however just barely clinging on to life in hospital. Who will the prosecutor be then? You ask Ema she tells you that they don't know yet apparently they have three different ones lined up and that the police department are considering letting you choose. You head to the Police Department straight away. You meet the new Chief at last. It's Detective Gumshoe! He tells you you have three choices 1, 2 or 3 but he won't tell you what they are. You get to pick now and whatever you pick affects the story throughout the trial but due to what occurs at the end doesn't affect the final conclusion just a fair chunk of this case. So here are the choices, not that you get to know in the game:

The trial last four days however and the trial for the last day is: OMG!

You continue your investigation and talk to more people and small things have tiny references to the DL-6 incident. You decide to look back at the case files and cue first flashback, you are playing as Gregory Edgeworth!

Then cue bunch of talking and stuff and the elevator incident. Next you are Robert Hammond and are investigating the scene etc, you meet a distraught Child Edgeworth. This bit is quite lengthy and last full trial length with investigations and trials

Witnesses: Child Edgeworth, The Judge on the day of the crime and Misty Fey channeling Gregory Edgeworth.

After this you it cuts to Odoroki confused as ever, he heads to the police department and tries to get the DL-6 evidence, however due to it already being solved he needs to find the detective in charge of that case, and it is none other than gumshoe due to him being part of the Lake Gourdy incident and him being the detective on that case which is partially included in DL-6 (the original DL-6 detective from years ago had retired) You get the evidence and you go into court

The trial begins and the judge reads the defendants name out and it turns out to really be none other than Miles Edgeworth! Odoroki having read DL-6 is at a loss for words reaslising he is in over his head. The Prosecution says something quick about their past with Edgeworth, trial begins. You make it through Day 1

Day 2

After talking with Ema you learn about SL-9 and cue flashback, and you are well we'll just say the Defense in the trial was Mia. Cue investigation of five different crime scenes. No substantial evidence appearing, things looking good for the defense. First Day in court for this one

Cue stuff bout conclusion of Rise From The Ashes, you realise that just about everyone from these cases is involved in this one, big coincidence. More investigation, talk to Ema about SL-9 etc.

Prosecution: Whoever you ended up with
Defendant: Miles Edgeworth, he has donned the cravat now even though he now wears a laid back hawai shirt wtf XD

Witnesses: Jake Marshall, Angel Starr and some other witness

It is said that Garyuu has some sort of relation to Phoenix. Maybe it's Edgeworth? Maybe Garyuu has a grudge about Edgeworth, or perhaps hates him? Maybe Garyuu planned to kill Edgeworth, but killed Phoenix by accident instead. If Odoroki is to grow to be an independant Attorney, there has to be some way of Garyuu leaving, maybe he could be the killer.

And of course, a silly case to ease your souls.

Continuing from where I left off

SPOILERS!

You scrape through the trial, thanks to one of the members of Kyouya's band objecting from the stand claiming he witnessed something (much like Larry did in the first one) his testimony while flawed saves the day. After the trial you speak to him and he tells you the reason he objected is he heard from Kyouya, that he respected Edgeworth from way back when he was training to be a prosecutor and that he doesn't believe Edgeworth did it as his testimony revealed something suspicious. He also says hopefully it'll get the band more publicity so he cna get more money to score some weed

After scraping through that trial, you go to investigate more, mainly to dig up some more dirt on Edgeworth and Kyouya, you've also noticed Garyuu has went missing. He left you after the previous case, because he felt u were reasonably independent now. But you're surprised that he hasn't came back for this trial considering it is his brother who has been shot! You go to uncover these mysteries, you don't find more out about Kyouya, but you learn Edgeworth was Kyouya's mentor for his first six months! You head to the detention centre and learn from Edgeworth that the meeting was for Edgeworth to return Kyouya's original prosecutor's suit. You don't believe he''s telling the whole truth so u call Minuki who threatens to cast an Earthquake with her magic if he doesn't talk WTF! he doesn't believe it so she starts one and he caves. He tells you he was meeting Kyouya to discuss opening up a Prosecutor's Law Office together, however when he was there someone shot Kyouya from the darkness. You then meet the member of Kyouya's band who tells of something similar. He says he saw Edgeworth clearly and his hand didn't move or anything suddenly there was a gunshot Kyouya fell and Edgeworth ran, probably scared. The band member says he ran as well and called for help. Phoenix asks him to testify again tomorrow. He says he's barred from testifying again because they thought he was lying. Odoroki decided to vist Kyouya to see how he's doing. When he arrives at the hospital Kyouya is missing. The nurse tells you he left and is in a wheelchair for the time being. It then fades to day 3 of the trial.
