I love SSB! I can't wait for this game, especially since I have a hunch about Sonic appearing. When discussing Mario & Sonic at the Olimpic Games, Shigsy mentioned Mario and Sonic will be having a spot of 'fencing'. See what I'm onto?

Actually, I love Roy, and I'd hate for him to go, but it's a strong possibility.
Falco I don't think will leave. He's almost more popular than Fox himself, so he's not going to leave anytime soon.

Anyways, I'm still waiting for this elusive Animal Crossing rep. Seriously the series has an item, stage, icon, and song, but no character? My guess is that it will be either Mr. Resetti or an Animal Crosser.

What? So they included 3rd party characters to add some variety to to the gameplay and you "lost faith" in the game?! They were going to add Snake to SSBM but Kojima was too late to ask for the character to added in melee. Sonic has such a good chance of getting in you might as well accept it. Also they don't update hidden characters and unlockable content on the dojo so you won't see Snake's mugshot on the site till after the game comes out (on the old site he was said to be unlockable along with all the 3rd party characters).

XD XD I figured someone would say something like that... so, I added him, he would be kinda of like the pichu... really strong, but hurts himself, not many would play as him. Why does Sonic have a great chance of being in Brawl? Well there is Mario and Sonic at the olympic games, so they already have made the lisence agreement to include the two in a game together. There was the infamous EGM April fool's joke that got alot of people excited that Sonic and Tails were in Melee. Second, Ike is a Roy clone?! Check out his moves again (all 2/4 we've seen), Aether is more like Kirby's Final Cutter attack then Roy's flaming upper cut. Ike's charge B move strikes the ground and causes and explosion infront of him that looks like it hits a big AoE. Roy's charge B was just a slash attack, with flames to make it stronger.

It can easily be modified that if Tom Nook is in the fight, he doesn't appear in the background. After all, there are thousands of Animal Crossing characters, and I'm guessing they change during the course of the fight, so it's possible just wouldn't show if someone is playing Tom Nookie.

Sonic needs to be seen still, and if he was in, he wouldn't ever be an AT. Shadow's a stupid character to have though, yay for black Sonic. (I've played Sonic games, but Shadow is by far the worst character around. Dyeing someone black and making him evil doesn't make him much different >_<)

Mario: Fawful / Petey Piranha, maybe Kamek if we are lucky, and chances are Bowser will start as a boss

Because In SSBM Young link and Link were both playable... and they are both two different forms of link. There are more than one Toad...
And I don't really care if Sonic or Shadow are in, I just through them in there...

Wolf Link? Why? Link in SSBB is already Twilight Princess, so if something, it'd be a transform of him.
Also, Toad isn't in - he's still a move of Peach.
Sonic needs to be seen still, and if he was in, he wouldn't ever be an AT. Shadow's a stupid character to have though, yay for black Sonic. (I've played Sonic games, but Shadow is by far the worst character around. Dyeing someone black and making him evil doesn't make him much different >_<)
Because In SSBM Young link and Link were both playable... and they are both two different forms of link. There are more than one Toad...
And I don't really care if Sonic or Shadow are in, I just through them in there...
Toad as both a move of someone else and a playable character doesn't sound plausible at all to be honest :P
Sakurai's taking clones out (Dr. Mario, Young Link, Roy, etc.), and Young Link was put in in the last minute. I mean, come on, what sense does it make to first tell us how great and TP-style Link is in SSBB and then have a seperate character spotfor Wolf Link? :/ They could've put in WW-link or someone instead then.

Oh, I see what you mean... Well Im against clones...They tend to be too bad... If we got MORE characters in Brawl and NO clones it would be the greatest four-player fighting game ever!

Capcom has been on good terms with Nintendo for along time, they keep making exclusives on their systems and most of the MM games are on Nintendo consoles/handhelds. Also MM (like Snake and Sonic) has been in a fighting game before (MVC) so its easy to see them throwing him in another crossover.

Well, Snake is verified... but Why is it about Sonic... I see your megaman reason... but what about Sonic?
XD XD You don't have to answer that. If sonic is in Brawl, he would have to have some kind of connection to Nintendo other than the Olympic Games... Im not sure if that would be the only reason...

Hmm I see your point... You could get the two greatest SSBB players (after it's around for a while) and put Mario as one, and Sonic as another. Turn off all Items, and go on the fairest course, (Known so Far) Battlefield. And the two should be equally skilled. The better one is the better character.
