The amount of choke points was a little ridiculous compared to the previous games. I'm only up to case 3 and I've already had to save/restart more times than I care; hell, I've even consulted a walkthrough at least several times. One instance that was especially frustrating was the "instant death press-a-statement" near the end of case 2. :chinami:

Yeah, I get that a lot too in this game. I've never lost so much health on a first case before. That "severed electric cable" theory in the first case never hit me.

I managed to keep my "perfect score" in cases 1, 2 and 4, but case 3 almost smashed me down. In the end I had a very tiny bit of HP, the bar was almost all red.

Are you mad? That's the point.

Heck, I tried presenting the umbrella at that point in Dahlia's testimony, where you was supposed to present Phoenix's testimony. You know what? The judge basicly said that sure, that testimony could be wrong, but you showed the wrong evidence. :jake:

That's a great improvement, I'll say. :gant:

Do you mean angry mad or British-Crazy mad?

Nah, I'm just kidding. I'm all about the challenge. Mostly.

Oh, I agree. I only used a walkthrough like... three times in each of the first two games, but now I'm keeping it bookmarked because I keep checking it!

In stark contrast to case 4, case 5 was actually kinda easy.

Actually, I found Case 3 to be leagues easier than Case 2, which nearly destroyed me.

You found Case 4 hard?

Melissa had an obvious contradiction EVERY SINGLE TIME SHE TESTIFIED!

I don't remember that very well... I'm curious, do you recall what that statement was about or anything?

Spoiler:
1- Indeed, it is true that I was not at Lordly Tailor.
2- I had to leave to see about another vitally important job request.
3- I had known about the date beforehand, so I had this photograph readied.
4- My brilliant deduction was what informed me that the true culprit was
Ron DeLite.
5- And thanks to the Key Card and Wallet, it was abundantly clear that he was
there.
6- I was also able to make a deduction from the buzzer, which only sounded
once.
7- The button did not have any fingerprints on it...Why?
8- The victim would have left prints if he sounded it. Which means the killer
sounded it.
9- Mr. DeLite was wearing his Mask DeMasque outfit, which is why he left no
prints.
10- And, the blackmail letter? The victim likely just mistook the color of
the jewel.
11- Zvarri! Therefore, all the evidence points to that poor boy!

You're only allowed to press one statement, otherwise it's game over.

I remember getting stomped on a lot in case 3, but the second day of case 5 was so easy it was practically a joke. Kind of disappointing, really :(

Case 2 was *bleep* hard and Case 3 was *bleep*ing WORSE.
I mean, I had to do the same as Mario2000 for nearly every two testimonies or health-depleting choices!

Yeah, there just weren't enough characters/pieces of evidence in case 5 to make it even possible to confuse anything. Plus, there were way too many hints, Godot gives some, Mia gives some, I hardly had to think for myself at all...

I don't know if they did that because they just wanted to tell the story and not have the player be bothered by too much gameplay or something. But it was kinda weird, especially compared to 1-4, which I thought were all a lot harder than 5. :chinami:

In every of her testimony, there were several possible statements that could have been the testimony. That was what really pissed me off, I know she's messing up but have no idea which one she "really" messed up at.
