(Didnt see a thread so i guess no one made one about this) Anyway anyone play this series? Since its there 10 year celebration i decided to pick up the new 5th game. Anyway comments on any of the games? hate it? love it? Discuss. i think 4 sucked badly. The first game is still my favorite.

I'v played the series, but only 1,2 and 3, but yes 1st the best, 3's the worst so far, also, by 5 to you mean alter code F, or is that just a re-make?

I have played all the games so far except for WA5. I still need to pick it up. Out of all of the games 2 (YAY for Crimson Noble Marivel, vampires rule) and 3 are my favorites.

Hmm, I like the new HEX system that was introduced in 4. It's a unique and different system for an RPG. However, I felt the story was lacking.

I'm a big fan of the whole series.

The 4th installment became an instant favourite for me, simply because the battle system is not boring as sin. :P

And IMO, the 3rd one should have just ended at Chapter 3. Chapter 4 was just.... blah. >.>

I remember playing 2 and 3 and enjoyed them... I can't really specify anything since it's been almost 2 years since I played one but maybe I'll give WA5 a try when I'll have the time.

1, 2, and 3 were fine, but 4 was a goddamn narrative train wreck and 5 is pretty much the same thing with a different bungled "moral" argument. The hex battle system is okay in 4 and 5, but the encounter rates are way, WAY too high--especially in 5.

1 may still be one of my favorite RPGs though, regardless of flaws; Alter Code F not so much.
