Also, I think it's funny that there's such resistance to the idea of Edgey being gay. Even when people ADMIT that "Edgeworth is in love with Phoenix" is the only logical option for his 'secret,' they still refuse to believe it.

In other news, I got a new doujinshi. Unfortunately, I accidently got part two before part one, so I'm going to wait for the first one to come in before I really think of scanlating any sections. It takes place during that ever popular stretch of time: 2-4. (There's an adorable scene with Pearl too. And a little bit of Fran. I hope to see more of her in the first book)

I'm admittedly curious as to how the doujinshika works in the NaruMitsu basis in the "Safe" series, considering how many sexual pairings that particular series has. Aside from Otapyon's Gumshoe stuff, I don't think there's been a single non-NaruMitsu "basis" doujinshi he's done... <3

I'm 90% sure Otapyon's a man. He renders penises a little too detailed and lovingly to be a woman, draws Gumshoe-porn, plus his blog is very masculine in its interests...
It's a lot of little things and details that show in his art--it gives a feel of not just "liking" this sort of thing, but actually having experience in this area. I'm not saying it's impossible for him to be a she, just when you compare the differences between porn drawn by women and porn drawn by men, his is definitely on the masculine end.

No, the mangaka of Yellow is very much a woman. There's not a whole lot on BL-mangaka-that-are-men, though I'm pretty sure they exist. If Otapyon is a man, then he'd be one--he's been published in publications like June... It is interesting to note that there is one shoujo mangaka very well known for male/male comedy manga...and he's a straight guy too.

Okay, well a nosebleed is a comedic tool to explain a character's "arousal". It's used in anime and manga and is usually seen with only male characters, however there are many series that have female characters that have nosebleeds like in Nana, Karin (well she's a vampire who instead gives blood rather than take, she has an over excess of it and if it builds up too much and she can't find a victim, it comes out in a nosebleed), The Wallflower, etc. For women it's usually pertains to very hot bishounen men (looking HOT) and also very hot bishounen men in yaoi situations (like with the pics here).
I hope this helps explain it.
