You know, when the SSBB fanbase was hit with three new characters almost in a row, I think we got spoiled. Now not much else competes, we all want to know the new characters. Don't get me wrong, I love some of the new updates (TMwSCaBHiFMa300 FTW!), just now we all want to know who's new in the crew.
Cross your fingers, as said before Friday yields good news! They like to leave for the weekend with a bang.

This is the first character to come back that I wasn't 100% sure would, as the Ice Climbers received a NES -> today transfer, like Pit just got. But now that they are here, we are left waiting to see if the remaining three veterans will also come back.
Will Ness come like he always has, or be replaced as rumored? Will Captain Falcon come also, granted that Samurai Goroh is an Assist Trophy? And is Zelda going to transfer into Sheik, now that she's been Twilight Princess-ed?
And most importantly... is the Ice Climber FS a freak blizzard?

EDIT: Captain Falcon has a pretty high chance of coming back. Not only is he the only real playable representative for F-Zero, but his smash icon is listed for Samurai Goroh's assist trophy, which only happens when there's a playable character and/or stage associated with that AT (see the difference between Dr. Wright and Lyn, for example).

But, they really got discriptive with the Ice Climbers. I mean, their gloves, coats, shoes, ect ect. Are all brilliantly detailed. And that last picture...so...adorable...

Personally, I hated the Ice Climbers in Melee. But I do like how they look in Brawl. Let's hope that they get a little revamped in moves to make them better.

Ice Climbers are very unique it's often fun to use strategies with them like getting one to grab and the other to beat. And they're fun to fight too.

Captain Falcon (Starter in Melee, series confirmed to be in game, been in both previous SSB titles)
Ness or Lucas as newcomer (My guess is Ness for same reasons as Captain Falcon with Lucas being unlockable, but if Mother gets 2 reps or Ness gets replaced, Lucas is the next obvious choice)
An Animal Crossing newcomer (Series confirmed in game, why have a starting stage without a character to go with said stage?) No idea who though.
Marth (Series confirmed, Marth's weapon is the symbol of the series, he is also the poster boy for the series in Japan and super popular over there)
Shiek (Series confirmed, Zelda director confirmed she and Ganondorf's updated model's were given to Sakurai for Brawl. Might be seperate or may still be a transformation of Zelda, also was a starter in Melee. I guess you could also throw in Ganondorf instead of Shiek, but I think he will be unlockable.)
Mr Game & Watch (Might be hidden, but he is most likly in the game, check out the world list FAQ on other SSBB boards to understand why)

I also think Ganondorf and Falco will make a return, or instead of Falco any other Star Fox character, with altered movesets. Dr. Mario, Pichu, Roy and Young Link'll be out.

WRONG! It's the secret hammer from the NES game, Wrecking Crew.
Also Tinker those levels came from franchises with playable characters (zelda, donkey kong, etc.)

I still think it's Tom Nook. That raccoon in the first picture for Smashville is one of his nephews! (If you got far enough in Animal Crossing for the Gamecube, Nook expands his store to a second floor; he's on the second, his twin nephews on the first.)
