According to 3-5, red does not exist in his world. And that's why he could not see the blood word "Maya" written on the lantern in 3-5 and so is the stains on Maggey's apron in 3-3.

But let's think it this way:
If red really does not exist in his world, so is he color blindness or look as if nothing there if a object in red?

From the logical conclusion, he looks as nothing if anything is in red. Because he was invisible to the blood-words I mentioned above.
If he is just color blindness, he could had seen the "Maya" in lantern, but in black & white or other color.

Problem, if he really is invisible to red objects, so he could LOOK THROUGH one thing if it was color in red?

Let's do some assumptions.

If a train is fully colored in red and passing before Mr. Armando as fast as it could. what would Godot feel? could he possibly think there was a hurrican there? :yuusaku:

Funny, we were discussing this in another thread.

viewtopic.php?f=28&t=3755

We seem to have come to a consensus that his inability to see red is caused by the red lenses on his mask "filtering out" red. He'd probably be able to see a train's outline, just like you or I could easily see a red train against a red backdrop.
And he certainly doesn't have X-Ray vision... or does he? :godot:

^ Agreed, but wasn't it that Godot couldn't see red on a white background? That led me to believe any red he sees might be filtered to white... Because vision is a fickle thing.

An explanation, kinda wrote:
Friend: "Why can't Godot see red with that visor?"

Me: "Well...

I guess its because of the lenses. They filter out the color red and make it white, which explains Case 3-3 and 3-5. It's much like being blind - your brain can't interpret light, so you can't see colors. With Godot's red visor, his brain can't "see" red light because it's being absorbed by the red visor. So, in the absence of light, and therefore color, he sees it as white.)

More or less."

That's my reasoning, anyway...

He wasn't able to tell that Luke's ring was red either, but he could tell that the "Ace Detective" had a ring, right? It was on a white background (his glove), but Godot would've been viewing it from the side still. This does sort of support the filtered out red theory.

Yes, he does. He's cyclops, look at that visor! Anyway, I think he can see stuff, but just not the color red. It'd probably be colourless to him...?

Me and my friends were discussing this. I wondered if he could see through something if it was red. One of them jokingly said, He has "red-ray vision!" LOL :godot:

When he says that the color red dosent exist in his world, he means that because everything is already red, things that are in reality red are actually...well, I'd guess white. Which is why he cant see red on white. (Or "redd" on white...gah kudos to whoever noticed that)

Ever looked through red glasses? Since everything is red, you can't distinguish red from anything, but you can with the other colours.

You know, I THINK Godot can see blurs... but can't really make it out. Like an out of focus photo. The other colors blur over the red.

He obviously uses an infrared visor. :godot:

Okay, 'nuff with that. There was some instance in every case Godot prosecuted where he failed to notice something red, right?

Spoiler: 3-2, 3-3, 3-5
3-2: Atmey's diamond
3-3: The apron's "bloodstain"
3-5: Blood on the lantern and the snow

He only cant see red, If its on white, if you weren't paying attention. And in that case, he sees the red as what ever he see the white as, but if its red on... say blue, he would see it. :godot:
