Probably, in the original japanese version, the character for curry had two different meanings or that "curry" sounds similar to another japanese word.

I can see the localization do a curry<->crudly pun, but it is a bit of a stretch and isn't as similar as gravey <-> gravely

Acutally in original Jap version. the title of 3-5 is <Gorgeous Turnabout> which means the case in this chapter is gorgeously and excellently done.
Well the E version is title is < The bridge to Turnabout>

About the curry thing, it has 2 meanings.
1. a kind of food additive which is famed around Asia, esp. South Asian countries.

2. curry's pronounciation is more like the Japanese words which means "gorgeous" in English, and in Chinese is "华丽的".
