Finally, today, I finished the last Phoenix Wright game, and I gotta tell you, its a hollow victory to think that I may never play as the greatest Ace Attorney ever again... I mean I played through 3 games (12 cases [minus the two as mia]) just to have him turn in to a hobo???? Do you think that they'll ever have the greatest Defense lawyer make a come back or should I say turnabout? or will they let us down with the second rate apollo justice, and hobohodo again... :larry:

hmmm....I have a thought. They COULD do what they did with Megaman and all those series and just have 2 seperate games. Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney and Apollo Justice Ace Attorney. It better be better than how the Megaman series turned out to be if capcom goes down that road... :sadshoe:

1. He's no different from Phoenix.
2. Justice is also a real last name. It's not like they just slapped it in.
3. Phoenix can't do that without the Magatama, and it being charged. Had it not been charged, Phoenix could not "look in to peoples hearts".

I don't like how they Killed off Phoenix (metaphorically, of course). I'm only posting here because Balrog told me to. I HATE SPOILERS DON'T SPOIL ANYTHIGN FOR ME I'M SORRY MOMMY PLEASE DON'T WELD ME TO THE WALL! But I agree that Apollo is ugly. He's got chicken-hair. And they got rid of the red vs blue element of the game that Capcom is famous for.

Didn't the creayor of the game say he was "finished" with Phoenix but he was basically forced to put him into AJ:AA?
It'd be a shame if you don't play as Phoenix again as I'm attatched to him, but maybe he'll be in GS5 somehow.
On the other hand this is a bit unfair on Apollo, no? I might really like him.

I'm not worried about names or anything (Even though I still hate Justice as a surname) and I think Apollo looks awesome myself.

I'm just worried... that it feels different. It could be because I didn't understand a damn word being said while I was playing it but it didn't feel like the same game, and I didn't really like that. :[ I'd like to ask people that understood the game if they felt the same because I am willing to put it down to the fact that I don't understand it at all, at least for now. I did quite enjoy the eye candy though (it was my prime reason for playing on actually).

I'm definitely looking forward to the English release but I'm quite skeptical.

You should note that the logo was changed from Phoenix Wright, to Ace Attorney, after AA1. He's not a hobo per se, he just looks like one. He's a pianist at Borscht and he owns a talent agency.

As for him being a lawyer and making a cameo, it makes the AA4 storyline less interesting. The backstory behind Phoenix after T&T is rather interesting.

If you don't like Apollo - quit buying the series and stay in the past...I quite find apollo interesting, and am CERTAINLY going to continue my Custom with the AA Series.
Apollo's looks shouldn't have anything to do with buying or understanding the game...and the sheer fact that you haven't even played the game and criticise the Plotpoint of Phoenix 'Being a Hobo' also makes me laugh.

There's a reason for the change....he's not really a Hobo....and AA:AJ IS BETTER for it!
