All you need to do to play it is install the activeX controlls that YoYogames provides and your set! OK everyone, my game "Gumshoe's Evidence Search" is up again, its version 1.1, Basically in this update, I made the walls bigger, Changed the End marker from a cravat to an edgeworth Smiley, and changed level 2's design around. And hopefully fixed the collision errors from v1.0. If you played v1.0 be sure to click on the down arrow that is displayed on the "Instant Play" bar to update to v1.1 ENJOY!
Oh, I would like some feedback to and so on, suggestions, ect. ^^;
If you encounter any glitches can you screen cap the error and detail what happened so I can work and fix the problem please?

Currently Working on v1.2: Clearing any reported bugs from v1.1. Add level 3. Add a way to skip a completed level.

I would love to play it, but it only ever open once, and closed soon after that, other then that one time though... It didn't work...

Currently working on a way to make it run w/o needing to download the .exe file >_>
EDIT: And I have found a way to do so w/o you guys having to download the .exe file from megaupload. just go here: http://www.yoyogames.com/games/show/12052 and you should be able to play the game. So long as you have the appropriate ActiveX controls. If not no worries, YoYoGames.com provides it for you to update your ActiveX Controls.

Oh well. It was fun and thanks for posting it! :) A mention: when you goof on level 2, you're sent back to level 1. If you goof on level 2, shouldn't you start level 2 over and not level 1? Just a heads up unless this is supposed to be a part of the game. :)

and EFG: I tried fixing that, but the project was due yesterday @ 12:01am and I only had an hour left before I had to go to work and release halo3 at 12:01
. Hopefully I can figure a way to fix that in v1.1, if not then in a future update. But ATM starting back at level 1 is part of the game, on the description I did write you have to start all over if you get caught to cover for that glitch

suggestion noted ButzPuff! -note to self, make thicker walls-cool. probably making the walls thicker might stop phoenix from getting stuck on a few walls, witch has happened to me recently, other than that it worked fine 95% of the time. >_>
remember suggestions = <3 because w/o testing a glitched up game is never fun.... just please, nothing complicated

Yeah, the hole is big enough, the problem is that I'm usually a bit to high up and I get stuck...

yes it does, thanks for screencapping it and letting me know to fix the bug. -nods- I will continue working on v1.1, I've encountered a problem when I resized the walls, witch means I have to make a new wall sprite to fix that problem I encountered, hopefully the new sprite doesn't cause the same problems as the old ones have.

Two points where Phoenix can get stuck. The first is on the second level and the second on the first.
But good game anyway. Is there going to be more levels in the future?

also need to let you know too, if you played v1.0 on YoYoGames you need to click on the down arrow on the right side of the "Instant Play" bar to update from v1.0 to v1.1
also I haven't uploaded v1.1 to megaupload because its probably easier to play it off of yoyogames. v1.1 will be up for a while, and like always if you find a bug, screen cap it and show me where it happened. Also give me a few details as to how it happened to, it might be programming error on my part and not collision detection.

Probably gonna begin coding for
to be added in future levels to avoid along with phoenix, but instead of loss life the level will reset.and again, I am open to suggestions to make the game fun. Any input at all is appreciated to make it better. Especially with bug reporting.
