Yeah, Red was one of those generic names that they gave you already to choose out of three other names or you had the option to make a name. It's PT for sure.

And why do you think so? What reasoning draws you to the opinion that Sonic shouldn't be included in the Super Smash Bros. series? It wouldn't be hard to make a good moveset for him, and the game could use more speed-based characters.

Overall, pretty much what I was expecting. The Pokémon text bubble declaring the attack, and how it's Super Effective, is a nice touch.

My exact thoughts.
However, I was wondering what happens if a player happens to manage to get behind the 3 attacking Pokemon. Do they eventually turn around and attack that player or are they in a safety zone?
Also, has anyone else noticed that 3 out of the 4 updates this week involves on-screen text? Could that mean anything?

For the FS to be fair, there has to be a blind spot where you can avoid the attack. Of course, actually getting to that blind spot is a chore in itself.
Take Mario's FS, for example. It's a wave of fire that travels spreading out in a cone. If Mario does it in the center of the stage, it's up to the opponent to get directly above, below or behind Mario to avoid it. Same concept here.
Just that people will see patterns that don't exist, as usual.

In any case, that's beside the point. The point is that this will probably lead to Resetti calling him by 'Pokemon Trainer', and that would piss me off because it's pretty much grammatically incorrect and that's not all.
