I have no qualms with the channelling technique, I just found this particular scene to be absolutely ridiculous. There was no need for her to appear as some stupid demon thing. It really killed the mood for me.

I think it was perfect because its was the FINAL BREAKDOWN for Phoenix, and Im glad that they left with a horrible ghost crying an dissolving in a fire of her own hatred. I loved it!!!
