Musn't forget about the Wang penalty.

So then, I believe the rules have been well and truly established by now, don't you all agree?

Croik will give you a signature with a Naked (Not explicit sp?) Zenitora ( :zenitora: ) or Grossburg ( :grossburg: ) as a punishment.

I'd give you links but I'm not sure Croik would like it.

Weeeeell, Croik's photobucket calls the Zenitora "wang sig" and the Grossburg "Wang sig 2".

Then all's well because that siggy is smaller then set limits. But it generally doesn't come to that.

Eh, I'm not sure if there's an official sig check thread here yet, but meh.

My sig's dimensions are 600 x 183, but why does there seem to be a large amount of space whenever it appears in posts?

I'll have to guess that you probably have a "Center" Alignment on your Sig.

Exactly how was my sig big? There are plenty or other sigs much bigger than mine, like GF for example.

If you would READ THE RULES, (which state that a sig cannot be more than 200 pixels tall) you would realize why your sig was too big.

If you see sigs that are too big, please tell the person or else report them to me so I can delete them.

If he takes out one line of text, it's fine. The image is 188 pixels high.

Your sig is merely text, so of course it'd be small. If you want a sig but can't make one yourself, PM someone who does.

I wanted to clear this before I actually went ahead and made it:

I want to make a sig that will, essentially, be a collage of official art and game images. I was wondering if it would be all right for me to put the picture that appears at the very end of GS3 (after the credits end) in that sig; it doesn't exactly spoil anything, but since it shows up after you beat the game I wasn't sure if it was ok to use it or not.

ETA: Nevermind. I found a different picture. :P

I'll answer that question anyway, just so people know: at this point, no, I'd rather you not use any late-game artwork in sigs and such, even if they aren't realllly spoilers. Everyone has the right to go through the game and see things like for the first time in context.

The size limit is 600x200. It's not that difficult to check the size of an image... :\

But yes, yours is fine.

You have to upload them on some host site like Photobucket or Imageshack and then link to them.

OH MY GOODNESS, come on guys, this is not that difficult. If you have a PC, right click on your own sig, choose properties, and it will tell you the size of your image. If that image size is 600x200 you're fine! If not, make it smaller!

Read just one post above you. Find out yourself if it's right, but here's a hint: yes. It's just on the 200kb border, albeit unnecessarily, and 520x150px, that's within the allowed range.

I'm still very nervous about GS3 spoilers. Does
Spoiler: GS3
the fact that Dahlia has a twin

count as a spoiler that I can't use in sigs?

How can I check the total size of my sig, that is, everything together? Do I have to print-screen it and look at it in MSPaint or something? Is this sig an acceptable size?

I can't seem to find any rulings on right-justified signatures. Unlike long-width signatures, they don't expand the size of the page, so I would think they're OK, but I'd like to hear it from an official voice.

That's fine as long as it isn't too big, doesn't have spoilers, and isn't full of nakedness or something exlicit.

Just to be sure, is it bad if you make an OC sprite based on a spoiler sprite and use it in your sig?

Spoiler: My case (spoilers 4-1) INCLUDES THE OC SPRITE
I based an OC sprite I'd like to use in signature on the Objecting hobo-Nick sprite. Would it be bad if I used it?

Actually, here it is:

It's pretty obvious who that sprite is based off of, so please do not use it in your sig.

Ok. Thanks for the reply. I'll have to come up with something else in that case. Is it ok to use that sprite in a sig in the future, when AJ:AA isn't that new of a game? For example when GS5 is released?
