Question about Celeste. (spoilers?)

If she truly did not leave a suicide note, then why did Edgeworth state that at first they thought she did because traces on ink on her finger? :adrian:

Corrida could have put ink on her finger to make it seem like she wrote the note.

I've always thought that Corrida either;
made it seem like she wrote it by smearing ink on her finger
or, the more likely option
she wrote one and he destroyed it.

Why do I say that's the more likely option?

Didn't Adrian admit that Celeste never wrote a suicide note, though?

...But then why would she go through all that trouble to get it if it didn't exist? Gah, I'm so confused...

I get ink on my fingers all the time. It's not unlikely that she wrote something that wasn't a suicide note hours before killing herself.

Adrian didn't know about the note being a fake. She kept saying "I wanted to burn it.". She also said that when she discovered the body, she even brought a lighter. So, I think Coridda planted the ink on Celeste's finger.

I think she said that because the note was a fake, Celeste mustn't have written one, but that's really just her opinion.

I actually thought Edgeworth was lying about the note at first, but when you consider Edgey's do-everything-by-the-books nature, and that he could have easily been found out, I don't think that's the case.
