If you look at Lotta's pictures, you'll notice that the killer's face looks exactly like Mimi's. But you learned earlier that Maya never channeled a spirit that day, so you can conclude Mimi was still alive.

The stolen identity thing still threw me for a loop, though. Weird and unpredictable... but still within reality.

Ini's identity was actually someone else and had nothing to do with Ini at all. Matt was Matt but in a different way. Okay I know that made absolutely no sense but I couldn't think of a better way to word it.

On topic, the whole thing with stealing Ini's identity really threw me off my rocker for a second. I was trying to figure out, "What was Ini's motive and why did she wait so long?" Then I saw the contradiction in her testimony and then it hit me like a ton of bricks.

One thing I thought was weird the whole time is that in the opening scene, you see a dark haired girl sitting outside the burning car. If you were sharp you could have come to the conclusion right away that Mimi was the one that survived and the red headed Ini (the one we never got to really meet) was the one that died. I mean, they keep saying Mimi died in that crash, but the survivor had dark hair. Did anyone notice this? I was confused by it until I figured out the awesome and shocking truth then it made sense.

I actually did notice the hair thing, but I didn't really think much of it. The plot twist was just too surprising to come to mind.

I remember after first playing this case, I was talking to my boyfriend about it and he said, "Wow, I had no idea that stupid lawyer game was so...dark." XD

The opening cinematic had me thrown off for the entire case. I noticed the girl so much jut because she looked so sad.

I thought it was awesome, too.

And god, did The reminiscence track for that one ever pull a number on me - 'The fire carves scars'...Epic, sad, and melancholy.

Ini's revelation was kinda known beforehand...but I blanked out that I knew it and pretended to be shocked/stunned.

I really was, though...the storyline and script was just beyond any game I'd played before, and intricate too.

Well, since I was familiar with Ini's face, I KNEW it couldn't have been Ini right from the start, because the girl in the intro has long hair, and Ini's is short. And besides, it all pointed to that in my opinion....Dunno why.

I caught onto it right away. Well, I had my assumptions at least; it was when Phoenix was comparing British cars and American ones that I started going 'ooh! oooooh!!' because of the driver seat connection. From there on it really fell into place. I think I realised when Hotti said they used a photograph to construct her face. Dodgy ~ :hotti:

I absolutely adore case 2-2. I remember when I first got to the point where Phoenix explains that Ini is actually Mimi, my jaw just hit the floor. It's easily one of the best cases as far as the series is concerned, and I hope that T&T has at least one instance that causes me the same amount of shock and awe. <3

I first knew there was gonna be something weird and dodgy about "Ini" when she brought up multiple personalities as one of her interests, but the posing-as-her-sister thing just hit me out of left field. The reason the whole "stolen identity" gig was as shocking as it was is because they kept it silent until the very end, the climax of the story. They mentioned something about surgery but you never really knew how it fit in to the case. Of course, you know why she had plastic surgery but it didn't reveal anything about her identity - much less have any relevance to the case at hand - until the very end, when you finally turn on the light and unmask the thief.

Totally mindblowing! A moment in video gaming I will never forget. It definitely belongs on a 'Top 10 Most Shocking Moments In Video Game History' list. Either that or Matt's betrayal during 2-4.
