We need ONE THOUSAND signatures before we can send it! tell EVERYONE you know to sign this. If we achieve our goal, Nintendo will receive it. If they recieve it, who knows? Something good could happen!

There haven't been ANY demos so far on the Wii Shop. An online petition, while a nice gesture, doesn't matter unless the maker actually sends it to Nintendo, which isn't the hard part, but also that Nintendo takes it seriously, which IS hard.
If there's a demo, it'll be from Nintendo's own initiative.

And why would Nintendo even care? 1000 people? Do you KNOW how many people that are in a percentence of all gamers? 0.1%? 0.05%?
You want to make an impact? Well, go ahead and try and convince someone, but:
1) Don't use online petitions. It has, won't, and will never work. Ever. It's hard to recognise who actually made it.
2) Get to somewhere that actually needs it. I mean, start collecting signitures to tell SquareEnix how fucktards they are and how much they are shooting themselves in their own feet when they're suing mods, or Sony, trying to get them to stop acting like idiots.

If you really want to do something about this;
1) You will need to have a paper-form petition.
2) You will need not 1.000, but 10.000.
But in the case of something as patheticly unimportant as a demo, I doubt Nintendo will listen even if you DO manage to do the above. Because Nintendo isn't STUPID.
