And Cadenza, if they count.

Re: Favorite bands?Topic%20Title

I do hope you were trying to say that The Flaming Lips sound like a 60s band, because if you actually thought they were a 60s band, well, I... ehh.

Oh lordy Christ, there's this one Bright Eyes song I enjoy, are they really the kind of band would be grouped with Coheed and Cambria and Hawthorne Heights? :S

They're cousins musically. They come out of the same movement (early 2000s emo), but aren't the same style.

Ah, Muse. Brings back memories of a time when I had much simpler tastes, my favourite song was always Dead Star, for some reason. <3

Guys your avatars are confusing me.

Anyway, I don't really like Muse, but Stockholm Syndrome and Knights of Cydonia are pretty awesome songs.

Someone hasn't been to a Mayhem concert... :S

Not that you'll ever be able to, the lead singer, kind of blew his brains out with a shotgun, and the guitarist was murdered courtesy of 40 or so stab wounds. >_>

EDIT: Oh Lordy Christ, I've begun listening to Paramore, a slight departure from my usual obscure Black metal listening habits... :S

I'm hoping that I'm only enjoying it because I want the lead singer. <3
