I feel very pissed off at my work right now... ARGH!!! I have to wait until tomorrow to get my copy of T&T. Another 24 hours for me to painfuly count down to... ARGH!!!!Sometimes, I hate GS, I think they purposely push release dates 1 day so they can get last minute pre-orders...

Our copy is on the way in the mail so it will be a few days before either my husband or myself has a chance to play it. :) That's all right since I just started a Castlevania: PoE game playing the twin sisters, Loretta and Stella, last night so that should keep me occupied until T&T arrives.

Like I said in the other topic, most stores won't get it until the day after it ships. Today is the day it ships. Tomorrow is the day most stores actually have it in stock.
Oh, and Happy T&T day! Maybe the playing a full English version of the game will change my stance on it.

Excactly my thoughts, I have a good right to believe that GS got these games in the other day to ship out, and just want to delay it an extra day so that they can get last minute pre-orders. They can do that with games that don't have street date, but street-dated stuff, boy they can't pull that shit off..

I wasn't hating on GameStop. I was simply quoting their policy. A store employee even directly said to me yesterday, "We usually have our orders in stock the day after they're shipped."

What ticks me off about that is the fact that they display the ship date in the store, at least at the GameStops I've been to. Like, the game on the Coming Soon rack always shows the ship date in a way that implies you can buy it on that day. It's very annoying.

I hate Gamestop though, I heard they tend to give away reservations that aren't picked up within a timely manner. I know that after the first day thats a given, but I've heard of people loosing their copies on the FIRST DAY, though I PAID for mine in advance... They aren't suppose to do that, my grandma had to harass the people at EB Games when I pre-ordered Nintendogs and paid in full because I couldn't come and get it till the Friday of the week it came out (so 5 days later) they would've given away my game even though it was paid in full... assholes...

The only oppurtunity I had of getting TO the MALL it turns out it ships out today, as everyone else has noticed, so i'm just stating the obvious. =P

Well least I got to see an old friend of mine from my old school, that was a plus xD (should've got her number, miss talking to her)
They said they had many angry peoples today, but it was never specified that October 23rd was the SHIPPING date and not the acctual "you can go pick it up at the store now" date, which is extremely misleading XP I've been able to pick up other games on the date which it was said to released. If the game was suppose to be released TODAY, they should've been shipped YESTERDAY. Companies should put the STREET DATE as their release date and not the ship date, thats meaningless to us except to say we've got to wait another day.
Mia Fey: If you pre-ordered, you should get your stuff tomorrow, just make sure you pick it up ASAP. As long as you paid in full you probably have nothing to worry about, and if they give your copy away AFTER you paid in full, you have every right to von karma them with a very big taser >_>
