I love this game!

Does anyone know if there will be a sequel? The bonus puzzle at the end sorta implied one....

I don't think Cing is into sequels, unfortunately. And if they were, they'd had better be doing a Hotel Dusk sequel before they do for Another Code.

Hotel Dusk is technically a prequel to Trace Memory, however loosely connected.

For my personal thoughts on Trace Memory, While it is undeniably short, and has an extremely small cast, the writing is SUPURB and the use of the DS in the various puzzles has forced me to have a hight standard for Cing and their puzzles.

As for a Trace Memory Sequel, I'm not sure there's anything left to expand upon. Ashley's storyline was closed nicely, and depending on how well you play, so was D's (Though personally I'd love to figure out what I've been doing wrong all this time so I can get D's ending)

I liked Trace Memory very much. I need to play through again and get the good ending though. It only cost me 10 dollars new, so it was an incredible deal.

I kinda loved trace memory (mmm.. little dead boys!) but Hotel Dusk (another game from Cing) gets my vote. longer, harder and better. :keiko:

I loved Trace Memory, but I beat it in five hours and that made me very sad. It was a fantastic concept, but it was SO SHORT. I wouldn't have played it that hard if I knew it was almost over....I feel like they could have done so much more with the plot.

I think Another Code was better than Hotel Dusk.
The plot was more interesting, the music was better, the puzzles were better, and the gameplay also... Hotel Dusk had a lot of knocking around, it was sometimes so boring.

one thing i dislike most about trace memory is that it's so short, yep, like MercuryKitten said. i finished it in one sitting. that's what's disappointing. :uramidn:

I don't think Trace Memory really needs a sequel. But... maybe a prequel focusing on the Edwards? That would be neat. :D

Another Code was amazing, but it was too short. I would LOVE a sequal...but they'd have to create a new situation for Ashley. I think she is a really cool character, i also find it quite cool that she has the same birthday as me! but is a year younger. I loved the music of this game to bits, does anyone know where i could download it, cos i can never find it :sadshoe:

Hotel Dusk really does deserve a sequel, hell, I'd say it needs one... Kyle still hasn't found Bradley, so there's no problem with continuing the storyline, Another Code however, has all of the important wrapped up nice and tight.

I fell in love with the game as soon as i started playing it,the use of the DS was very well done and the storyline and script was very good,i also loved the characters in the game.the only problem i had with it (and many people have said this too) is the game was WAY too short. i would have loved to seen more plotline on the Edwards. but reguardless of the shortness of the game and all,i still love it to bits. i still loved

Hotel Dusk on the other hand,i enjoyed it quite a bit,it made me think. i know Trace Memory/Another Code will prolly not have much of a chance for a sequal as Hotel Duck would,but it would be intresting to see one.
