[3-5 Spoilers] Post-Game Godot?

I'm quite confused as to what happens to Godot after the game. As far as I can tell there's no way he'd be found guilty of Pre-Meditated Murder (which seems to be the requirement for the Death Penalty, at least for Manfred Von Karma), in fact, I wouldn't be surprised if we was out of prison in a matter of months. In addition, he clearly states that he can live a good long life as he is...

On the other hand, he shows up with the rest of the dead Fey's on the top screen in Larry's Sketch... so did he die sometime between 3-5 and 3-Epilogue? It seems unlikely, and honestly, who wouldn't want a... saner Diego to show up for some case is the next trilogy? Maybe just as a Cameo or something, but it'd still be cool. :yuusaku:

I don't know what happened to him. I didn't see them actually find him guilty of murder or anything like that at the end of the trial, like you see at the end of the other trials. He could've just died from the stab wound to the eye he recieved

I don't think Diego will come back. He died after 3-5, judging by the picture on the epilogue. I don't think he was given the death penalty, even Dahlia's case took years to finally execute her. We don't know how his health was after spending a good couple of days lost in the snow wounded and without medical cares, when even he admits he needs them. As far as we know, he could even have let himself die just to be with Mia :meekins:

Anyway, even if he didn't die, his story ends after the trial. I don't think taking him back after 3-5 would be a good idea.

Well he said he only had two reasons to live when he came out of his coma. His first reason, Mia, was already dead. So he turned his attention to his other reason, Maya. And since the events of the case convinced him that Maya was in good hands with Phoenix, it would mean that according to his reasoning, he no longer had a reason to live. So maybe he killed himself in order to be with Mia.

Godot probably died sometime during his jail time due to either his condition (and the fact he didn't treat an eye wound for a couple of days) or suicide.

The best part of waking up, is Godot in your cup. :godot:

Godot's death is strongly implied when he's in the top picture in Larry's sketchbook along with Mia and Elise.

Not really a shame in any way. In fact, I would have felt much more sorry for him if he had lived, since everyone he really cared about was dead. :mia:

That's not quite true. He cared about Maya, if only as a way of making up for his perceived failure to protect Mia.

but they would lighten his sentence even if he admitted he did not kill misty to protect maya? Unless he pleaded for the sentence, then maybe, yes.
