Question about Maya and Godot (3-5 mega spoilers)

When did Maya figure out that Godot was Diego Armando? Did she know all along and withhold it from Phoenix? Or did she somehow put the pieces together when she was stranded in the temple in 3-5?

I'm not sure if they brought this up in 3-5 or not, it's been a few weeks since I played it.

Did she in fact figure his secret identity out at all or did she just know that Godot was there? If she did know his secret ID presumably Mia told her.

It was mentioned after the trial that she was protecting him in the final cross-examinations because she knew that he was Mia's lover. Which makes me wonder if she put the pieces together herself, or knew all along and didn't tell Phoenix...

The entire end of that case doesn't make sense. Clearly Mia was behind it all.

Mind you, I still got all teary eye, wibbly lipped, and useless... But really... Nothing makes sense in retrospect.

I'd make the assumption that Maya was told by Mia (via letter of course, who knows where the paper comes from) while in the temple during 3-5. Possibly while in the courtroom at the end of 3-5 by Mia!Pearl. It is never implied that she had met Diego and considering the short amount of time Diego and Mia would've had to date it's pretty reasonable to assume that the two didn't meet until 3-2.

Anyhow, Maya wouldn't be able to keep a secret that big from Phoenix. She'd be like "I know something you don't kn... ohmygod is that a burger.. so anyhow, Godot? Totally hates you because he used to date my sister and blames you for her death... yeah. Can you pass the ketchup?"

That's assuming Mia's version of events is correct. I think Godot talked to Maya before she summoned Mia. No way he just runs off and leaves Maya alone, especially since he knows Pearl might summon Dahlia again.

Remember, Maya can be very strong when she has to be to protect someone.

hahaha I was wondering when the next time I'd read the chewbacca defense would pop up.

As for what I think, maybe Maya figured it out on her own? Afterall when Mia became an attourney, maya was what? Like 13, 14? Maybe she vaguely remembered Mia was involved with soneone named Diego (not saying she actually ever met him, but its possible she ehard about him from Mia. Maybe Godot even talked to Maya before Maya channeled Mia for help.) But up until actually seeing him protect her at the garden, she didn't piece together Diego and Godot were one and the same.

It was Mia. Didn't Maya say that Mia came to visit her in the Medical Offices before she was put on the stand?
