Which characters in the games are left-handed?

Some of this might be attributed to Capcom simply angling things so we can see better, however, from their animations it looks like Phoenix and Franziska are left-handed. Phoenix always points and rubs his chin with his left hand. Franny also gestures towards the witness/defense (and points at you when you're talking to her outside court) with her left hand and holds the base of her whip in that same hand.

Works for me. She points left-handed like Phoenix, but that could be just an angle thing. But she does rub her chin with her right hand. :p

Dustin Prince is left-handed (Big yellow baseball glove, anyone?)
It's strange though... If I'm not mistaken, Edgey points with his left hand, even though he's on the prosecutor's bench.
Thank you for reading. I hope you have a wonderful day.

lol spoilers!

But yeah. Godot looks to be right-handed, and I'd say Furio Tigre is right handed if the intro to 3-3 is to be taken as an indication.

Most, if not all, defense attorneys are left handed, and prosecutors are right handed. That way when they point, you still see their faces. Case solved.... at least for the peeps in court...
On April 3, 2016, Court Records Forums experienced a miracle upon that day.

If you look in the character books, Phoenix, Mia, and Apollo were all seemingly drawn facing left, then flipped for the game. That could explain it.

Cevian started a topic just like this one several months ago. It covers the "handedness" of every character from the first three games.

According to 1-4, Miles Edgeworth is right-handed.

But we all know he can switch hands when he needs to. :edgy:

It's mostly for effects sake. How impressive would phoenix's :object: look if he almost only showed his back? The same with the rest of the defense.

That doesn't explain Franziska pointing with her left hand as well, both in court and when facing the screen. And when she holds her whip over her head (with the base in her left hand) her back is to the screen.
