Jay would have to forfeit his status check, not that it'd have mattered what the results were anyway.
Jay made a run towards Dofa. EVASIVE MANEUVER! He tackled Dofa out of the way, and rolled with him a considerable distance away. "It's all up to you now, Xero!" Jay called from the other side of the restaurant. Unfortunately, as collateral damage from the maneuver, both Jay and Dofa took 2 damage.

"Here goes!" His buster glowed a bright blue, and he said, in a VERY cheesy DBZ-ish voice:

"PLASMA WAVE!" The buster's light magnified in size; at least twice its original size. Then it magnified even more, and shot a very large wave - it ripped through Jason's body, disintegrating him, and made a very large hole in the restaurant's wall.

"... Whoops. Well, I did warn you," said Xero.

"Ooof!" Dofa said. "Ow. That was unexpected." He rubbed his own head. "You know, I am amune to specific sorts of energy. If that canon, is what I think it is, then I would have survived. But the mechete, maybe not." Dofa got up on his feet. "Anyway, thank you for your help. As a reward you guys can eat here whenever you want for free. also, you may come here just to hang out."

"Wow! Nice shot... Though I guess it's hard to miss with something of THAT calibur..." Jay stood up and brushed himself off. "You okay, Dofa?" Jay asked. He pulled out his cell-phone, flipped it open, and dialed a number. "Hello? Yeah, we've got a nice hole in a building and we need someone to come patch it up real quick-like... Can ya be here in 15 minutes? ...Don't worry about the cost. I'm sure the owner or the one who caused the hole will be glad to pay for it..." Jay looked towards Dofa and then Xero with a half-smile. "Okay, see ya then! Bye." *beep* He closed the phone and put it back into its case.

"Hey, Xero, y'know with that 'battle form' of yours, that energy-immunity formula might do you some good..." Jay said half-jokingly and half-seriously. 'Oh man, this is such a hard choice... Let's review. That eternal youth formula would be nice, except for the fact that you'd outlive all your friends and "eternal youth" doesn't necessarily mean "eternal life"... However, this could be the only chance to choose to possibly live forever... Cold and Heat resistence... Might be good if I ever found myself in a tough spot or thrown into some random volcano, but I'm not sure if those things are ever gonna happen. Still, like the others, this is probably a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence... Energy resistence. Now there's one for the tabloids... "Man survives explosion even being two feet away. Sources claim he may have 'some special traits' about him."... I don't know how often I'd get shot at with plasma weapons or ray guns, but on the off-chance I do, this might be useful... ARGH! Such a hard decision!' He thought about it for a minute and decided to ask one question. "Does the eternal youth formula merely grant you the look and feel of eternal youth? Obviously it doesn't say eternal LIFE, but I didn't think you'd be the type to hand out random invincibility potions either. I think that would come in handy sometime though... HEY! Wait a minute... Xero! Aren't you from the future...?" 'What the hell did I just blurt out?' "Errm... sorry about that, my mind was wandering... Ah, what the heck. I'll take eternal youth." And with that, he made his selection.

The man in black looked at Xero as if he were an idiot, "the only way for you to counter-attack is if I attack....... Come to think of it:"

:objection:

"I never once stated that I will attack you, in fact, I implied that I would counter-attack you when you threatened to attack me." The man in black shook his head, "so much for the son of Phoenix Wright" the man then walked out of the restaurant to go get the boy, but the boy slipped back in though the hole in the ceiling.

Another agent popped up behind Xero and whispered something in his ear; "objection, there is no way to counter-attack a 500-psi explosion, especially if the elbow breaks at 8-psi." Then that agent disappeared.

Xero yelled out the door, "Threatening to attack someone and attacking are two different things! If you attacked me without me attacking, you couldn't stop me from counterattacking! You just disproved your own logic!"

He then issues another :holdit:

That other agent pulled out some paperwork, then nodded his hand, then disappeared again, however, that first agent came back in and turned around to face Xero. Several "ohhhhhh.....!"s could be heard outside.

"I am aware of that, and attacking and counter-attacking are also two different things" the man in black shook is head, and gave Xero that same expression as he did before, "and I had noted that you mixed up my logic with your logic and our testimony. So how do we get past that?"

Several more "ohhhh....!"s could be heard outside, as Larry Butz came inside, "o snap!" yelled Larry, as he walked up towards Xero, "this might be the bad time, but how's Nick's little man?" Larry asked with a smile.

The man in black took out a government dictionary, "'Testimony', noun, a 'story' about what a person witnessed or did." he then put his dictionary away, "then again...."
