So yesterday when I was re watching boku no pico(I finally decided to download subs!) and a TL note came a long and said(I don't have my laptop right now so no screenshots) "Ochichin means penis". I mean what the fuck? They couldn't put "wee wee" or "penis"?

A One Piece fansub group made a huge deal about the word "nakama" suddenly, and every single fansub (for anime and manga) followed suit...

As for Ochinchin (And not WHY you were watching Boku no Pico), although it's about as stupid as the Nakama = Friend thing that KEFI seems to refuse doing, "wee wee" as you put it sounds too childish and "penis" doesn't carry the playful / naive meaning behind the word as it's used.

Which is funny, because when left untranslated, it just becomes a word with no meaning in English. It's not like the people reading the fansubs are supposed to understand what it "feels" like by leaving it in Japanese. Personally, I've always felt that the official translation-- comrade, I believe-- works just as well.

It is. Considering Boku no Pico is a hardcore yaoi (borderline shota) porn show, though, I'm pretty sure we can let this one slide.
Although, I'll put it this way--can you think of ANY word he could say, English or Japanese, that would make it sound sexually arousing to the viewer / lead character?
I can't even begin to guess what the line is, but I don't think there's any way to translate it that would make it any better to begin with.
