Alright well I just replayed this case and I still hate it just as much as I did before :lana: . Here's a compilation of what ticked me off:

Spoiler:
1. After case 2-2 you become really attached to Pearl and seeing her at the beginning of 2-3 gives you hopes that she might play a part in the case, but to my great disappointment, Pearl is pretty much non-existent in the case.
2. As stated previously, the circus is very painful to navigate.
3. The music drove me absolutely nuts.
4. The investigation phase was extremely tedious.
5. The day 4 trial was absolutely ridiculous and gruesome and the constant onslaught of plot twists was really painful to follow and everything was incredibly far fetched and the judge's absolute idiocy started to tick me off A LOT.
6. Also, the police do pretty much nothing in this case, Gumshoe doesn't do much in the case and it makes you do all the detective work yourself.
7. The scenery gets annoying, the case is pretty much entirely "self-contained" in the circus, while other cases allowed you to go to new places once in a while, for instance in 2-2 you get to visit that clinic and such instead of being stuck in Kurain Village throughout the ENTIRE case.
8. Basically this case failed to truly grip my attention, because it was paced terribly (all the excitement was crammed into the day 4 trial, the investigation phases and such provided nothing exciting at all).

I kind of liked 2-3... Ben and Trilo kind of scared me, however. You can see Ben's mouth moving when Trilo speaks, so you know it's Ben's dialouge. As far as the case went, I liked how Acro smuggled the murder weapon into court under his wheelchair. That was a nice touch to the chaos in that case and I had least expected it to be in court.

Also, let's not forget Moe's comical homages to Fresh Prince and The A-Team.

As a result, 2-3 is definately not irritating as much as 2-4 and some of its characters are.
IE. Matt, ugh. I want to shove that cellwatch down his throat. :igarashi:

I didn't care for it. Mostly because I know how it happened WAY before I was sopossed to.
Spoiler: I won't insult your inteligience with what case...
On the last day of court, I was practicly screaming "THE CRIPPLED ACROBAT DID IT! HE WAS IN CAHOOTS WITH THE CHIMP AND THE RINGMASTER WAS BUSTED!!" at my DS. Also the whole :acro: face and the fact that you can't tell Max is wearing pants in his sprites weirded me out...

The cell thing was what really bothered me. If he never had it, I probably would have liked him better.

Strange thing is that doesn't take a stretch of the imagination to see, considering what goes on in the courtroom in the first place. :hotti:

Everytime you press Moe on the stand the audience reminds you silk hat, gloves, and velvet cape! (or something like that) and later Franziska punishes you for pressing him because he won't stop telling jockes.

It's Silk Hat, Cloak, and White Roses, actually... well, 1/3 isn't bad.... okay, it's horrible, but meh!

Also, Moe actually has 2 instances where pressing him will land you a penalty. Not pressing FURTHER, just pressing him initially.

Also, a loofah would make a pretty decent morder weapon for asphixiation!

And then again, so would Grossberg, but neither are even in this case.

However, in all honesty, you COULD kill someone with a loofah.

Old saying I was told: Anything in existance can be used to kill someone.

Not sure of the limits of that saying... hmm...

Of course a rubix cube could be used as a murder weapon! Chuck it hard enough at someone's head, you could seriously injure them!

Also, same for a spork! I mean, enough stabbings could still lead to blood loss...

........ yeah, why AM I talking about this???

I used the hotti emote for the cheesy grin to support my statement about the insanity that goes on in that court...I wasn't using it to quote him since emotes can be used to show an emotion that the post's tone conveys. A cheesy post deserves a cheesy emote.

Gawd, I'd hate to interrigate that guy. I feel itchy just watching his animations. (Maybe he's at the clinic for chronic dermititis since the game seems to support the idea that he's also a paitent...)

-On the note of random items to be used in a slaying... I'd laugh myself to death if there was a M-rated case involving the victim being bludgeoned to death with something as questionable or bizarre as an adulttoy. Just think of what'd happen when Gumshoe tries to submit it to the court as the murderweapon.
:udgy: "Why is this picture a blur?"

Exactly, and no one seems to remember that fact.
I still see the Judge calling him sick every time that particular evidence is brought up.

Haha. I actually liked 2-3, but the one thing that puts it under the other JFA cases for me is because the others are later referenced in the plot, while this one is not. (At least in T&T, anyway -- don't spoil GS4 for me!) I've never really liked filler, is why. I liked the 2-3 characters, though -- they went all out with this case, considering the weird theme.

It's like a +5 raep hilarity points benefit to ever post using that emote. That, and it just makes everything funnier.
