Yeah, my Dad talks on the phone simulation on MSN Messenger a lot, and I used it before he did. Sure, I could probably do that... Only need, of course, a Messenger account so I could speak on it.

However, first, I'll try to use my sound program to record my voice... then I have to decide which character I might even be best voicing. Meh, I'll try each I guess, and see what I can get.

Final note: I'll send any completed sound bytes in a PM, if that's alright, Ethed.

Well I'm a good actor/singer so I'll happily lend my voice. I'm a girl but can also play a young boy if you need it. I also have access to professional recording and editing equipment, and the skills to know how to use them properly. I can write too, and am a decent lyricist, but I'm not as reliable in those areas. I'm great to bounce ideas off of though!

With regards to the script, I think it might work for Phoenix to be slightly... meta, for lack of a better term. Not too much, but he could say something like "Where do all these people keep coming from?!" when the chorus appears on stage for the third or fourth time. It seems like it fits in with the spirit of his asides in the games.

I absolutely love this idea for Phoenix. I've always felt him to be the most in touch with the utter craziness that goes on in that courtroom. (Edgeworth being the second, but really, is he going to say anything?)

Oh, I forgot to mention in the previous post. I'm from the south, and though I've trained my voice to speak and sing without it, I can do a southern accent as well.

My friend said if we have the last case included (Ep 5) we need to make a point of it not being conclusive to the rest of the game. All of the other cases before that felt conclusive to some sort of plot somehow.

Do what you want 'cause a pirate is free!

You are a pirate!

So NaNoWriMo is over, meaning I'll have tons more time to do writing, which means script writing this weekend! Yay.

I don't know, I still think we should record Pheonix's voice. :/ It would sound/look better, in my opinion. The only downside is that it's harder on the actor because they have to remember more stage cues.

However, I think it would be cuter because Phoenix and whoever could still go on with their dialogues, and Phoenix's brain could still be going on and on with the thoughts, reacting to said whoever's lines and making a running commentary.

Also, how many cases will be used? Just the first 4, or the main 4 from AA, 4 from JFA, and 5 from T&T?

Because if it's the extra 9, you'll have to start making different posts... also, I'm not sure who could play evil demonic Dahlia. lol.

Ah, a serious project! Excellent! I wish all involved with it good luck, and I eagerly await the day it is finished.

I'd sign up, but I can't sing very well, and I'm not good at writing lyrics or poems. If you need a person for some talking bits, I could try. I'm better at writing story-type things. But try to use me as a last resort, as I can't use the computer much during the weekdays, and since I live in Italy, my time is off from most of everyone else.

Ah well. Can't wait to see it completed!

I have a fair amount of acting experience, and I'm a countertenor. I'd be happy to lend my talents there.

I'd also love to help out with music and lyrics, as I also compose.

Haha, how pretty. Possible issues though because that look's like the original notes to Alessandro Scarlatti's Amore e rispetto.
I wouldn't like to decide on anything visual to represent the project yet, however.

It's too bad you're not doing RFTA. I just had a hilarious idea for Damon Gant's song in my head. It was about how jolly it is to be chief of police, and was equal parts "My Old Man's a Dustman" and "The Modern Major General". In my head, it had a huge deep-voiced chorus line and was brilliant. Maybe another day, we could try to do RFTA?

Hey everybody. You know that Damon Gant song I talked about? I thought I'd post it here. Yes, I KNOW we're not doing Rise From the Ashhes, but I thought maybe someone would get a brainwave from it.
Spoiler: HE'S DAMON GANT! lyrics. Saving space is fun.
HE'S DAMON GANT
by Matthew Jessup

GANT
(Long stare)
...HO! HO! HO!
Hello, me boy! How grand it is to see you, truly grand! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Damon Gant.

PHOENIX
Uh...thank you, Mr. Gant. I am Phoenix Wright, a defense attorney.

GANT
Why, I was saying just this morning, "I hope a lawyer comes and visits me today!" and here you are! How about we go swimming sometime?

PHOENIX
N-not right now, Mr. Gant. I have some questions to ask you.

GANT
Ask away then, Wrighto!

PHOENIX
(...Did he just call me "Wrighto"?) Uh, certainly. You are the chief of police here, correct?

GANT
(Long stare)
.....Indeed I am!
(Singing)
I'm the chief of police, I say,
It's really quite sublime!
Criminals are apprehended
Almost all the time!
The chances of a prisoner escaping
Are truly quite slim
But why waste time with paperwork
When it's more fun to swim?

CHORUS
He likes to dress in orange
And he wears a cross-shaped tie
He plays the organ far too loud
And he rarely asks "Why?"
But he's an excellent commander
Despite his need to swim
And every day is a jolly one
When you work with him!

GANT
I'm truly a noble man
My good qualities are not scant
I wear pink sunglasses
Because I'm Damon Gant!
(Speaking)
Why, just ask my subordinates!

OFFICER
His stares are a bit unnerving
And he's not one to ask "When?"
He can be quite self-serving
But excepting that, he's the best of men!

GUMSHOE
His organ is really loud
You can hear it across the hall
His temper is something to be feared
But he's a great pal, all in all!

CHORUS
He's slightly terrifying
And his organ's in need of grease
But every day's a grand old one
Because he's chief of police!
And while his anger may remind
You of Genghis Khan
He's a glorious chief of police
He's the grandest one!
He's truly a noble man
His good qualities are not scant
He wears pink sunglasses
Because he's Damon Gant!
BECAUSE HE'S DAMON GANT!

...It was a lot funnier in my head. See THIS is why I'm not on lyrics duties. I can just imagine Gant giving his subordinates his trademark hard stare before they start to praise him.
