Seriously, though. As I've said elsewhere, I've never seen anything that has dissuaded me of the notion that Miles Edgeworth is 100% gay.
I just have to object to that statement. I know plently of straight men that don't drink tea. And even though I only know a few gay guys, none of them drink tea.
But I have no doubt in my mind that Miles is gay. And if he isn't, he mine! *snarls like rabid dog*

Also, yes. He could be the straightest straight man to ever straight straights, and he would still look drop-dead handsome in that thing.
Not that I'm saying he's straight, because I'm not. Well, a very small part of me also supports the notion that he's entirely asexual, but for the most part, yes--I too support the "Edgeworth totally wants Phoenix liek naow" party. (That's after a long time spent thinking about the whole mess, not just because it's appealing. Which it is. Shush.)

I myself didn't see Edgeworth/Phoenix a whole lot in the beginning, but then I found this place and it put it in my head, and then I played 1-4... And what can I say, it's cute. And has a lot of strong evidence going for it. [once again, done better then me elsewhere. a lot.]
This is a great thread though, I'm glad it's gotten more lively lately. [also Trauma Center references ftw XD]

I'm fully on the Phoenix x Edgeworth bandwagon and have been since I first played 1-4. The tension between them and how they constantly come to each other's rescue started me thinking about them.
Plus, I tend to find gay relationships in books/movies/games even without any evidence or hints. When hints are there I'm bound to pounce on them!

I can see some Edgey/Maya, from the cute interactions, and his reactions to helping her. Well same with Pearls too. But I think he mainly acts like a big brother to the two girls. And add Franny in the mix he has 3 sisters. *laughs* I can definitely see Edgey being a great father to Pearls. I mean, did you see how he reacted in JFA and especially T&T? Have Phoenix and Edgey plus their adopted daughter Pearls. That, would be adorable.
Now that would be one happy family.

He's got class.
Just when I was beginning to like the character, he goes into highly cliche emo-mode at the end of AA, sadly. BUT I guess his redeeming feature was
(I'm not sure if hiding that behind a spoiler tag would actually ruin the game for someone or not.)
As for sexual orientation, I tend to think of any character as straight until they do something in the cannon universe to prove otherwise. Edgeworth just strikes me as a little confused at the moment since the 'feelings for Phoenix' does explain (to certain extent) his total withdrawal... and yet he has Gumshoe reporting back to him.
However- stating it as an absolute fact, and not a theory, is kind of like demanding the writer change the details when it's not your place, you know?
