No, just.... no.

I'm not even going to bother explaining the sheer stupidity of that, no matter how much truthiness my explanation holds.

........ what the hell, might as well!

Anyways, for more replies...Mike Meyers as Shoe would just be nightmarish. The last thing the viewers would want is Pearl Fey petting a cat 3 times her size. That's scary as hell.

Also, We need someone who, to be prutally honest, can pull off a look of obliviousness for the judge. He can't.

I still think Michael Clark Duncan could be Gant though, and I stand by my other claims as well.

The Rock can do it, all they would need to do is add a growling sound effect when hes screaming. Mike Myers would be perfect because he has experience playing a cat duh. Michael Clark Duncan cannot be Gant because Michael Clark Duncan is black. There are no African Americans in The Phoenix Wright series so we wouldn't see people like Halle Barry or Denzel Washington.

For Shoe, here's an unusual idea, it sounds insanely crazy but it just might work.

Bear with me here. For the cat, Shoe...

GET A REAL CAT!!!

I mean, jeez! Think of this for a second: If they only hired top-notch celebs to play each role, they'd have to spend billions on this movie, and I think they would rather try to create a better Mario Bros. movie waaaaay before shelling out the dough for this!

Anyways, firstly... no. the Rock cannot do it. His voice is more of a smooth-flowing voice, And he's not at all intimidating. I doubt they would put in 100 growls during his speech, and a voice modifier, to fix THAT mess!

Just get 'Taker. I mean, honestly. It'd be cost-effective, he's intimidating enough as it is... all you have to really do is cover up the tattoo of his wife's name (since Zenni-boy having that would be weird)... and give him the clothing and hair... and paint him completely red.

:pshhh: = Patrick Wolf
Yes, I do know Patrick Wolf is a musician, but I still could see him playing Max. In fact, while playing JFA, I always thought there was something similar with him and Mr. Wolf.
Pic, if you don't know who he is.

I don't know about him... He looks more like he'd be naturally angry, and mostly, Max is smiling, or tossing cards out from behind himself somehow...

I still think Jim Carrey could play him. I mean, as I said before. If there's anyone who can milk a role of someone weird, it's Carrey... Or Rowan Atkinson, but I think he'd make a better :hotti: .

Well, he do smile in other pics too, like in this one.

The thing is that Patrick Wolf doesn't really care about what he is considered as. Max seems to be the same way, at least when you look what he is wearing all the time. Jim Carrey however would just make it horrible. He would think Max is a joke and just do the role wrong.

No offense... Max is pretty much a joke.

I mean, the guy is either overly flamboyant (See... mostly anything Carrey does that's not a serious role), or a country bumpkin. If Jim could just try not to do anything completely unusual, such as start pounding on the detention center glass and scream "HE'S BACK ON THE FARM!!!", we'll be in business!

Although I wonder what the movie directors would do about the cards... What, they can't just go flying into the glass or around the defense lobby, can they?

(not related to the current topic)

I am amazed how badly some of the people on this site are viewing the roles though. I mean, Myers as Shoe, okay, probably a joke (I recall saying something about people knowing they are getting on my nerves and them still doing it...), but Ron Delite can't pe played by Carrie freakin' Fisher. She's over 50 years old, and Ron is 23! Besides, if the only thing connecting them is hair, then just get someone else with the hair she used!

Not only that, but it'd have to me a device on his head, so the :accordion-head: action occurs.

True, he is a joke, but the best thing in the AA games is that the jokes are still made believable. I hate to say this, but I don't see Carrey pulling off the role of Max that seriously. He would mess it up by trying to be funny when he shouldn't.

You can't be funny as Max? Honestly, most of his lines as least provoke an inside smile (like constantly saying "Sweetie", and most animations, etc.) You need a person who can play flamboyance to a T, and Carrey can do that.

Best thing to do is end a phrase like that with examples, so people could modify and possibly come up with better ones... that's one of my rules..... actually, it's not, since it's too long.

If that's usable, then Gant should be allowed to be played by Michael Clark Duncan.

However, I'm not sure if Samuel J could effectively play Godot. for one thing, he needs to have a deeper voice... and not look incredibly weird with pure white hair.

Anyway, most suggestions are much older than the characters...

The most convincing one I've seen/spoken of thus far seems to be Christopher Walken for Manfred von Karma. Mainly because of the fact that Walken plays a villian perfectly, and he's only one year younger than Manfred in the game.
