What's with the boxart?

Why won't they just go with their awesome calender art for their boxart?

They did that for the first Phoenix Wright, but they went back to the four slides thing with Justice For All. Just a small gripe, but still.

The first game also has four slides for me.

EDIT: That's not true, it has Phoenix on a white background. However, the GS4 cover is to keep continuity witht he Japanese covers, I think.

They use the four-character cover because it's a continuous theme for the Japanese version. They probably changed the first games' because they wanted a more action-ish cover to attract potential fans, but now that they have the fans they can use the themed covers outside of Japan, too. It's not like they're all that bad, either.

Yeah, the Japanese covers are good, but the art they used for the US version was just a lot more... epic?
