Site seems to be working again. Here's the piano part by itself:

http://media.putfile.com/GumshoePiano

Keep in mind that it's the same thing I just played, complete with the little musical interlude that has the spoken dialogue over it, etc. Go nuts! I want to hear other people's interpretations of Gumshoe!

ff3girl--great tone and control on your song! I also really like your take on April and the slight accent ("poils" "goils").

The Doctor--Awesome Gant, really accurate.

I don't think it was a problem on your end, I just tried to log in anonymously and got the same error. Then I realized the problem: I set the Global Password, not the User Password, as takethat. There's no spot to type in the global password from Quick Connect ... Anyway, quick solution is, I just removed the Global Password, so no matter what you type in as the password on an anonymous connect, you can get in.

Sorry about the confusion, try it now. Also keep in mind that if you registered before, you'll need to do that again, because it's a new server. So leave the Login Name and Password blank on your first login.

EDIT: I also just asked Ethed to update the OP with the new connection info ...

Glad you liked my changes, Triforce :) I'll definitely give a recording a go later tonight after I get home from work.

See you all later tonight :)

Still not working... it says "Maybe the server is offline, or maybe teamspeak is not running on it."

I'm on a Mac, and as such am messing with the little unofficial beta program that's all they provide for it; it's somewhat different than what everyone else is using.

*laments the state of Mac compatibility*

I tried going on, and it said that the info was incorrect, so yeah, I sent a PM to Ethed earlier on... now to wait.

I'll try singing a few bars of MMG as Redd while I wait.
Also, to The Doctor: The sound clips weren't working cuz my comp was messing up, and no sound was able to be heard.

Alright, I have verdicts for The Doctor:

Manfred: Spot-freakin-On! The ONLY way I could imagine it better is if you could count a bit older, with a sliiiightly more gravelly voice. 9/10.

Redd: He sounded partially tired... I try to make him as jovial as possible, but he sounded... honestly, if Harry Potter made an animated series, you could TOTALLY do Snape's voice! For Redd: 4/10. You have the evilness of him, but he is supposed to sound jovial.

Gant: Great work with this one! Gant was really menacing-sounding here, but also jovial somewhat.

And now.... The Doctor lines I would reccomend:

If you want to attempt an over-the-top old-man voice, with your current pitch you used for Manfred, Yanni Yogi seems easily possible. Manfred, I already stated my opinion, which was excellent. Another one I could imagine somewhat, is possibly Will Powers, since I could imagine him with a somewhat deep voice, but you'll need plenty of force if you choose him.

And a question for Ethed:

Is it possible... for a Steel Samurai theme song to be compiled for 1-3?

Sorry Wrestle, I can barely catch up with the PMs at the moment. I'm happy that most of you are cross-posting on here; my inbox fills up so fast.

The Steel Samurai theme is one of the few game tunes I would like to be in the musical as they are..so, I suppose :o

Er... Hello.

I wrote this song for White, I'd like to be a songwriter/scriptwriter.
I'm still writing the music for it. Imagine... saxes and trumpets. And booming chorouses.

I'm a simpleogical man. To you, a man of simple tastes.

(PHOENIX)
Yeah, right...

But whenever there's a scandal I can't let it go to waste.

I do the scandalous a favor, by covering it up.

But soon they will wish that they'd let it all erupt!

With scandal after scandal, they think they are invincible.

But then I slap them on the back, and say, "Buddy, you're DISPENSIBLE!"

They're always very eager, to cover up their sin.

But then the stakes begin to raise, and in the end who wins?

REDD! WHITE! BLUE!

That's right! The...

And when the price is too high to pay, they say "That's it. I'm done."

So then I simply nod my head and expose them to EVERYONE!

At the...

There are some who are courageous. They say they're not afraid of me.

But they are never quite so bold when they're outcast from society!

Lawyermen cannot prosecute me, for fear I'll bring them to the ground.

A Guilty Verdict would be just, but, alas! No Judge will hand it down!

Detectives, they are too afraid to come ten miles from me. Oh, Mr. Wrong, cannot you see? I'm untouchable as can be!!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

(PHOENIX)
Is that really possible!?!?!

This town is but a ring I wear,

My power extends EVERYWHERE!

(BLUECORP EMPLOYEES)

*loops, then fades out*

I'd like some constructive criticism and compliments. And tell me if it downright sucks, please.

Same here. I got gigs till the very end of the week so I'm really stressed out till then, but the length of winter break makes up for it - two whole weeks! :D

Then we should pick a day during next week to practice, and a time, too! B3 It's 6:10 where I live at the time of this post; I think everyone should post approximate times/relation to the time I posted so we can at least try and sort out timezones.

I'm free when I'm not working. Unfortunatly I can't predict when those times will be since I'm on call.

EDIT: I thought I might offer my writing skills if they're needed somewhere still. I can probably take the workload off someone if they've gotten too much.

Well I haven't read all 16 pages of this topic, but I'm seeing you're actually serious about this. I'm willing to assist. In the music part. The script writing..well, let's say, I might make it more of a fanfic, so, no. I play B flat Clarinet and Piano, but since I don't have a piano in my house I have a keyboard, but I also have no idea how to get all this in the computer. I saw this Phoenix Wright Re-Mix song and I really like it. I love it. It's a beautiful song. I have the MIDI of it, err well can I submit it? I'm not taking credit for just submitting it. I can also tell you the person who composed so you can give credit to him.

Here is what I would like to do:

Can I submit sheet music that I arranged for the musical? I would love to play it for the musical, but I don't have a recording device. Can I arrange Phoenix Wright songs onto sheet music so one of the people playing can play it? Just tell me the song and I'll try my best to arrange it for that instrument.

It's alright if you don't need a person for that, I can understand, because the part that I want to do is pretty much useless. Thanks for your time though. And I'll check regularly to see if you want me.

Your song feels like it should be jazzy, with lots of brass and jazzhands! :gant: Do you already have the music written or or are you the kind of person who writes the lyrics first and then the music?

Also, question: Should Grossberg get a song?

Edgeworth: good stuff! Fitting for the character, solid rhythm and rhymes--now let's hear that music.

Usei: Missed the recordings the first time around. Your voice is smooth like buttah, very nice. Any chance you could record yourself voicing some PW characters such as Mia?
