Do you have some obscure habit when it comes to video gaming? Here's an example;

I always need to be chewing on something when playing games (other than the Wii because of choking hazard) When I play my DS it's usually the stylus. When I play my PS2 or Gamecube it's usually gum, chips, a soda can, or my hand (that has happened more than once sadly enough.)

I think I need a rubber squeaky bone >.>

So what's your obscure gaming habit?

Here are mine:

I have to get up every once in a while and walk around.

I can't eat or else I'll start to suck.

I can't stand it when someone talks to me or touches me while playing, I'll begin to suck and start getting pissed.

Let's see, I sort of give random commentary when I play the games. I usually make cultural references. If I would have put it on the internet, I'd be one of those great directors. If I wanted too.

I chew on my stylus when playing my DS. I qoute Mario when playing his games when he has a voice.

Those are the only ones that I have noticed so far.

Me too. :lana:

I have the tendency to make strange noises when I play games. I also like to talk to the screen while I play. If I'm playing an MMO, I would say aloud whatever I type.

I chew on the back end of my stylus while playing my DS, I sit the same exact way when playing most of my games on the TV, and I tend to rant whenever I start to suck at whatever I am playing. :matt:

That's called Tourette syndrome and is very serious. You should call and meet with a doctor before you develop Tourette cancer. It is a very painful disease. I wish you luck.

A long time ago I had this awful habit of playing video games while listening to licensed music. Trouble was, it was from a Yu-Gi-Oh album. <_<

I turn off the music from certain games & listen to Fire Emblem songs while I play those games.

And get back into Fire Emblem.

I don't know that I have any, really. The closest thing I could think of is that I tend to be constantly hungry while I play games, for absolutely no reason.

It's really irritating trying to get through a big quest when you're constantly thinking chips chips weapon soda steak pie whee level up sandwich boss fight lollipop tea.

Whenever I have to remember something in a game, such as a significant plot point or where to go next in the game, I'll usually repeat it to myself under my breath because I sometimes tend to have a bad memory. I also tend to insult my characters when I start to do bad at a game, just to relieve anger. Its fun to get funny looks from my family when they hear me. They think I'm having conversations with myself. Silly them, they should know that I don't do that in public!!! ^^

Nope.

My mother used to crack jokes about knowing when I'd been gaming because things would start disappearing from the pantry faster than Phoenix runs through hair gel. I forget to sit down and eat most of the rest of the time, so there's always been a very marked difference. Heh.

For some games, when people watch me I seem to do better. o.O I don't get why. But 99% of the time I play alone, so I really dunno.

I hum themes in my head as they're being played, and sometimes out loud.

I tend to do better in RPG when my mom is around, in FFX for example I was stuck at two bosses at different times. When my mom was in the room, those bosses where cake.

Another thing that I do is imagine voices for the games without voice-acting. I sometimes voice-act for Phoenix when playing Phoenix Wright....actually I voice-act every male character when playing the game.

And if someone talks to me, or touches me, or bothers me..I get really annoyed.

*sigh* Once again you have a way of saying things without saying much. The game was easy to you, but I didn't know what to do on some parts. Another thing is that it's not even the point.

Back on topic...let's see...I repeat the same level constantly when I'm stuck to study it. That's normal...I think.

I constantly chew on the tip of the DS stylus. And I've always had a problem where if I get really frustrated with a game I end up biting the controller/handheld/my own hand.
