As in, there were extra lines of dialog that weren't in the Japanese's English version?

Yeah. In the JP version when Gumshoe hands you the lunch in 3-3, Maya says something like "Even a girl like me couldn't fit this much meat in her mouth." That was changed in the US. And of course the infamous EDGEWORTH IS A NUN thing was changed also. I'm fairly certain there was a couple more.

I would hope so. Everything in the Japanese formatting doesn't 100% fit with the English one. I thought of this earlier today. Some of the strange jokes in English probably wouldn't fit well in the Japanese text either.

In the Japanese version, there was a textbar issue.

Spoiler: 3-5 spoilers - Edgeworth
Edgeworth said "As the head nun, it's my duty to stay with the acolyte at all times, see?" This should have been Bikini. In the US version, it was changed to "As the head nun, it's your duty to stay with the acolyte at all times, correct?

It's changed dialog to a certain extent.

That's one flaw I have captured as an image. I have no idea why Edgeworth was even saying that line to begin with. Maybe I just pay more attention to the blue bar than the rest? :lana:

Yeah the innuendo was lololololol. I think they changed it to like "Wow, there's so much food here. Even I couldn't eat all this." I'd have to replay 3-3 again to be sure.

I'm pretty sure the Japanese one didn't have the 300 reference in it, but it's not really critical for the storyline.

Yeah, there really is, but I'm surprised they didn't leave that line untouched. I mean, the game is rated Teen, it's not like they can't get away with it.

The only thing is that if Maya purposely filled that with innuendo, it's a bit out of character for her. She's not really the vulgar type. Furio, on the other hand, I could imagine shouting various obscenities all over the place.

I don't have the exact info here, but somewhere in the recesses of my mind, I recall Hotti had a few lines implying that he was eying Pearl despite her age.

I've seen it somewhere on the forum. Someone probably knows more specifically what that is.
