A lot of things changed since the last one, and it felt to good that all the soap opera family reveals, plot twists, and most of all, super insane evil sides of people who used to be good, were done with.
Andrew put some tinsel around the tree and looked at the top of the tree. Last time, there was no star. But, this time, they would make up for it. The only question was whether Melody or Sarah would put up the star.
Miles walked around the house, checking everything. He even had a list. He checked it over twice ((Oh my God.)) and patted Andrew on the back for a job well done.
"Good work, 'Drew!'" Miles teased him with Sarah's name for him.
"That's SON to you, Father." Andrew smiled, not using real scorn.
"I wonder when everyone will come..."
"Maybe this time we'll answer the door NOT thirty minutes late?" Andrew poked fun at them.
"Maybe YOU won't work on a case on CHRISTMAS EVE next year." Miles said.
"Hey, I take my work seriously!"
"So do I, but Christmas is too much!"
The doorbell rang.
"Are we prepared to answer that?" Andrew asked.
"I think so." Miles opened the door. "Welcome!"
