When you think about it, Phoenix really went through a lot, all throughout the Ace Attorney 1-3. Being me, an obsessed fan ( :P... I feel I went through it with him. The big picture of this thread, is to share what you've learned from Ace Attorney. I have learned a lot, so much it's actually changing the way I see the world. Follow your heart, believe in yourself, the power of trust...all the endings of each game and the end of each episode in Trials and Tribulations made me cry wildly. Phoenix Wright really is an amazing game... but it's past all the humor and regular gameplay. It's what you walk away with that counts. Phoenix Wright has really left me with such amazing lessons and impressions that I never thought I could gain from a simple game. Do YOU have something to share about Ace Attorney's amazing emotional power? :_) What have you learned from "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney"?

1) Being haunted is fun and beneficial to your health, so long as it's not a redheaded woman.
2) Men can look good in reds. Possibly better than women.
3) Our present-day justice system is actually a lot better than I gave it credit for, in comparison to the PW one.
4) You can make anyone believe you simply by pointing your finger and slamming desks.

I actually tested #4 at work, once. It's fairly true, really. :eh?:

I have also learned a lot from PW. The power of belief...e.t.c, but the most prominent lesson i've learnt is that the truth will set you free. :godot:

Butterflies spontaneously generate in courtrooms.
"Wocky" is a really stupid name.
There are animations that, when repeated enough times, can nearly drive one to insanity.

GS4, so the spoiler tag is necessary.

@Rae08 --SAME! XDD I highly doubt anyone would know what one was (nor would they become so famous) if it weren't for AA. Cravats are pretty ignored in today's society, don't you think? :P

@Zinle -- Ahh, the DS microphone... the most special skill there is... :D No, really... it's really cool. :) That's great that PW helped you with your English! It's truly educational! :P That sounds like it would make a really good comedy "What Not to Do in a Courtroom"... starring Phoenix, of course. :P

Thanks to everyone for sharing! To tell the truth... I was afraid the thread would be ignored... :P Thanks again!

Blackmail is okay and usually beneficial, unless you blackmail the assassin you hired.

Coffee cannot seriously burn you, no matter how hard it is thrown.

Wine and playing cards are allowed in prison, and the dress code is optional.
Pairings: Miego, FeenRis, EdgeyFran, KlavEma, CloTi, Zerith, Vincrecia.
Just a note, all: I haven't been on in a while, so I'm trying to get my little persona here back in order. I won't be on as much in the future, maybe a few times a week. Sorry!

:objection:

There is a clear contradiction in your testimony!

*deskslam*

Please recall the words of one Phoenix Wright, Ace Attorney, just after being assaulted with a certain prosecutor's coffee mug...

"Should I be grateful this coffee is only hot enough to give me first-degree burns?"

*finger point*

Clearly, a contradiction!

If it looks like the defendant is guilty, don't worry, someone will yell "Hold it!" at the last second and save you.

Every piece of evidence you get will be used in some way.

I want to reiterate the statements at the beginning of this thread- "The truth will set you free."

Ignorance may be bliss, but it is also responsible for so many horrible things in this world. There is nothing more evil than good men who do nothing. Whether you are unaware of evil or choose to look the other way and ignore it, it is our responsibility to seek it out and make it right.

OK, maybe that last sentence was a plug for the song I arranged for the Phoenix Wright musical, but that's a sentiment in me that has grown stronger through playing these games. ^_^
