Stepping out of the elevator on the fifth floor--she just had this random impulse to see just how high the thing could go--Jenny almost walked right into the commotion happening. Quirking her brow, the newly liscenced attorney held the unknown owner's whip tightly in both hands, having already wound it about in a round cord. Now she seemed afraid to ask who it belonged to--there were so many people here she'd definitely be risking weird stares and embarrassment.

With the shake of her head, and a mutter about 'idiotic fools', the prosecutor turned. . . only to notice Jenny and a certain whip. Gaze of ice blue widened for a moment, before she swiftly moved over to the other attorney. Stopping before her, she crossed her arms over her chest and arched a brow.

"Excuse me. . . where did you find that? If you found it outside, it belongs to me. Not that I need to explain anything to the likes of you, but a foolishly foolish fool decided to toss it out a window."

Jenny backed up slightly upon the approach of the silver-haired young woman, as it was quite sudden through the commotion. When mentioned that, if the whip was located outside, it belonged to aforementioned silver-haired lawyer, she relaxed.

"Oh, this is yours?" she asked. "Yes, I did find it on the ground." Handing the whip back to the woman, she tilted her head slightly.

"So, you work here as well? I'm Jenny Westheaven--new attorney. And you are?"

She took the offered whip, slender gloved digits wrapping about the smooth hilt of the weapon. "Mm, well, I thank you, Ms. Jenny Westheaven. Yes, I do indeed work here -- I am a prosecutor. My name. . .?"

The prodigy blinked, and then smirked, pocketing her beloved whip, she placed a hand on her hip -- no rhyme intended! "Franziska von Karma."

"von Karma...von Karma...now I KNOW I've heard the name..."

Jenny had to think on it momentarily before smacking her fist in her palm.

"Oh! von Karma! I get it; you must be related to Prosecutor Manfred von Karma, right?" she said in surprise. "Wow, I never thought I'd get to meet a member of the legendary family..."

She smiled happily.

"It's a pleasure to meet you!"

All of a sudden, a hand snatched the whip. It was Kante.

"Ah sorry bout that Ms. Westheaven. She's on a whip probation for a while." he said with a smirk, taking off with the whip.

Emma watched the scene, wondering what to do. Should she pounce on this chance to talk to Mr Kante? Should she introduce herself to the two women she didn't know? And she had no idea that the blue-haired teenager was related to Manfred von Karma! But now that she knew, she could recognize the expression on her face. The cold stare that seemed to say 'I'm better than you', the slight smirk on her face, the aura of power all around her, she was exactly like her father. But was that a good thing?
Emma suddenly realised that she had been stood silently for a time which had surpassed 'Nothing To Say', and had entered the realms of 'Slightly Deranged'.
Quick Emma, say something! Talk about prosecuting! The weather! Ask Mr Kante about Ms Skye! Anything!
"Err... Hello. I'm Prosecutor Emma Roose. Nice to meet you."
Okay... Good. You managed to intoduce yourself without sounding like an idiot.
"Good afternoon Mr Kante. Could we have a word once you're not busy, please?"
Great, just keep that up.
"It's not about me wearing a cow suit."
Oh dear.

"Well, I'd better get to work," the blond-haired female prosecutor said to him.

"Goodbye," Micheal Darke said in return, and walked over to the commotion. He got there in time to see Kante take von Karma's whip. "James, is it a wise idea to be taking her whip away from her?" He said to him quietly, so Franziska wouldn't hear. "You know she has a hot temper."

"Mm, yes -- Manfred von Karma is my father. It is a pleasure to meet--" And then BAM~ Her whip was gone. . . again. Her hands balled into fists, and her eyes narrowed dangerously at Kante. Gaze of ice narrowed, promising revenge would not be pretty. . . however, on the outside. . . she remained calm.

"How foolishly childish of you, Mr. James Kante. Such tomfoolery in what is supposedly a working environment. It is to be expected, I suppose. . . haha. Such a foolishly foolish fool."

Jenny blinked. This woman liked to say "fool" a lot. She must have some sort of obsession with that word.

Upon seeing Fransizka's reaction upon having her beloved whip taken by none other than Kante, she looked at him with an expression mixed with shock and perhaps a bit of fear.

"M-Mr. Kante!" she nearly exclaimed in surprise, which was out of the blue for her considering she knew he already worked here. "Uhm...do you...do you really think you should be doing that...? I mean, she seems pretty mad...."

"Hmph. You know, I'm being lenient here." James said with his distinct English accent. "You've used that damn whip against so many people. Mr. Wright, the Judge of this district, me, and many others. Be goddamn glad I'm not charging you for assault." He turned to the annoying girl, the one who wore a cow suit to court. He personally wrote up the penalization onto her records, and couldn't help but smile everytime he's reminded of that day. It was the same day he spent his first anniversary being the Imperial Prosecutor. "Meet me in my office." he said, taking off. However, something stopped him. He turned to Fransizka and Jenny, and threw the whip on the floor. "Take it. You won't be using it any longer." He chuckled, then took off.

Emma gave a quiet sigh, smiled at the two women and said,
'Well, it seems I have to go... Nice meeting you both.'
She set off towards Mr Kante's office, wondering if he could get the keys to her office back. It was all she needed to get back to work, and there would surely be paperwork to do. What fun!
It was almost enough to make her want to spend another long-haul flight on an aeroplane, which she had done so often in the past year. Almost...

Putting her thumb and finger to her chin in thought, her eyebrow quirked.

"Huh. That's strange...I don't remember Mr. Kante having a...British accent. But, it's been awhile since I've seen him, so maybe it's just me."

Looking to Fransizka, she gauged the younger woman's mood before speaking.

"You look a little...well, pissed off. Are you going to be all right, Ms. von Karma? I mean, Mr. Kante DID give you your whip back..."

What was that that Kante said about possible assault charges for battery on people? She decided to ignore it for now.

The elevator was not something that Kevin Blooming really liked. He didn't like it to the extreme measures of say, Edgeworth. Oh, he knew that there was something about Edgeworth when it came to elevators and earthquakes; he hadn't checked the court records, but he knew that from that one time he rode an elevator with Edgeworth, and the elevator had suddenly stopped - well, the uneasiness of Edgeworth was just disturbing.

So, Kevin Blooming chose to take the stairs instead.

The refined man of his twenties wore a well-tailored white suit with gold-colored trim over a blue-striped, lavender purple shirt, fit with a smooth red tie. In his left blazer pocket was a red kerchief, and in the right one was a blue pen which he took out at that moment as he was looking over a few papers. How he dressed was very important to Blooming, especially when your hair was bright green and you knew how to carry a rose in your mouth almost the whole day.

Blooming's destination at the moment was the File Storage room, for more briefing of what they had. One month ago, the prosecution office found out about a break-in that only some of the most experienced, well-known, trusted and responsible prosecutors were informed about. They found out that evidence had been tampered with, and the court records were violated. Thus investigations flooded, trying to be kept on the D.L from the public, and the newer prosecutors, as so not to arise controversy. Old cases from at least three months ago had to be investigated again, and slow recovery on court record data had to be restored, making the job even harder. The only evidence they found was a counsel badge, and already Blooming suspected that whatever mastermind was behind this, it was clearly a defense attorney and since word got out this defense attorney would be taking huge precautions.

Suspicious, he thought with a grim face, biting down on his rose. That word was one of his big highlights in his dictionary, because it popped up everywhere. This meant a lot of trouble in the criminal justice system. Especially since a while ago, he had lost a case. It was hard on him when he did, but this loss was just an insult to him. It absolutely humiliated him as he lost so easily to a rookie defense attorney. One who he wondered how on earth she got her badge. It was then he started smelling a conspiracy at hand. Like most of the prosecutors, he was on the hunt for the guilty.

After finding out that there was fake evidence it was best desided that he wouldn't take a case for a while, after all you can't win a trail with fake evidence as he lost in his second trail without even knowing that it was fake...this made him mad...very mad so Wellington asked Gumshoe if he could get finger prints from the badge...if he could find out who's they belong to then he could find out where they live then sent the police on the dude wow fucked with the evidence...but as soon as he got done talking with Gumshoe, Wellington saw a person coming in...this person noticed Wellington and walked over to him."oh man i hope this isn't about anything bad."Wellington thought...he might as well say hi to the person."Hello my name is Ricard Wellington and you are?"

((Hi. I don't know iif you guys came before or after the move, but way back when I had a couple linked together topics. Skye's House and Prosecutor's Office. I was seriously thinking about creating another office. I am not trying to steal your frequents or anything, but I want to make it clear that I just want it connected and relevant to my Skye's House, and the my office usually needs a whole topic to itself. So, in summary, I was wondering if I could have your "blessing" in making a separate topic. Don't be afraid to say if you don't. I'd understand.))

Blooming opened the door to the File Storage room when he saw a familiar face in the room. His eyes widened. "Ah, it's you again!" he exclaimed, closing the door behind him and walking over to the rookie prosecutor. "Fancy meeting you here at the office after that other meeting we had.* Wellington, was it?" He lifted up his hand that held the papers he had been reading over. "I was just looking over a case that one of the prosecutors had lost. It seems very suspicious about how the rookie attorney acted; I really wonder how she managed to win."

It was of course his own case he had been looking at. He opened a cabinet and searched for a folder. "So, any luck for you?" he asked, picking up a labelled folder and placing his file back in before putting the folder back into the cabinet.

*Kevin Blooming = Michiko Karentoge (this one being his Japanese name)

"well i asked if someone could do a finger print scan to see if there were any on there."Wellington said."so in the mean time i checked on how many cases had the fake evidence and it turns out that there has been about 15 cases dealing with the promlem and the Prosecutors that lost were pro's but myself...but the weird thing is every defence lawer was a rookie...not all the same people but its weird...why only the rookies got these rigged cases...maybe someone wants them to win there first case...then again i've done two cases so maybe one of the rookies just wanted the others to win...but this is bad...about 15 crooks got away form this so when i get the finger print data back it will spell trouble for who ever it is...and at this point its probley a rookie defence lawer."Wellington panted a bit, he didn't get tired from talking non-stop much so he would listin to Kevin for a awhile to hear what he had to say about this."i hope this helps,I'll get you when the prints are done but tell me what you think about this."

Ah, my office. One of the few perks of this job... That and the money...
From the large window overlooking the city, to 'Bob', the tiny potted plant that she had got on her first day as a prosecutor, but now threatened to overtake the room, to the filing cabinet in the corner almost completely covered with stickers she had found over the years, Emma loved her office, and despite the misgivings she had of coming back she was looking forward to seeing the place again. Even if she would be welcomed by a pile of paperwork...
"The office number's 215, by the way."

With a snort, Franziska shook her head and picked her whip up. "Won't be using it any more? Whatever do you mean by that, foolish Mr. James Kante?"

She paused, and looked over at Jenny, before furrowing her brow. "Mad? No. I don't get mad. . . I get even."

Kante flicked through his cabinet to find the keys to Office 215. Suddenly, he closed it.

Emma caught the key and smiled,
"Thanks! I've been waiting all day for my keys, it'll be so nice to get back. And I'll make sure not to lose the master key. Or sneak into other peoples offices with it."
She laughed, slipped the key into the pocket of her jeans and turned to leave, but suddenly remembered something,
"Oh, Mr Kante, I couldn't ask you for a favour could I? It's nothing big..."

A woman with a whip saying something like that...well, it definitely shocked her.

"Well, Ms. von Karma...how do you propose going around and doing that...?"

With a dark smirk, the prodigy turned around. A hand placed itself on her hip, and she waved a hand about nonchalantly.

"Mm, now, Ms. Jenny Westheaven, why ever would I tell you such a thing? I barely know you -- even if I knew you well, which, might I add, I will NOT be knowing you all that well, I would still not grant you the privilege of knowing my wonderfully thought up plan." By the end of this little drabble, Franziska's left arm had been outstretched in the form of a perfect von Karma 'objection' stance.

Darke chuckled at Kante. "If I were you, James, I'd probably be scared. I don't know how you couldn't be right now." He shook his head. "Anyway, James, I'll speak to you later. Actually I was wondering if I could talk to you or Miles about a promotion... but as I said, later." Micheal walked to his office after this.

Jenny flinched a bit. Now she understood why most people didn't especially like the von Karmas...

"Ah. I see, then..." she mused softly. "Well, I'm not one to pry, but I just had to know...I mean, after all, I may be working here soon. I want to know how that devious mind of yours works so that I may stay away from any sort of 'revenge' you may want to exact on me...for whatever reason."

Jenny tapped her temple and smirked, placing one hand on her hip as well. She was good at bluffing...if this was indeed a bluff at all....

Black Kombat T-98 armored jeep drove into the Block A and the engine stopped. Lieutenant Charles Richter stepped out from the driver's seat and marched to the other side of the car, where he opened the back door.

A cigarette butt dropped out. Then a pair of black, polished boots lowered to the ground. Then the rest of the scarred, veteran officer figure. He nodded to Richter, who snapped into attention and proceeded back to the driver's seat inside.

Sigmund Snipe glanced the surroundings. Rather dark. Cold concrete and metal. He didn't waste any time, but signaled Richter to park the car and follow him.

He waited, should someone arrive. The Prosecutors Office wasn't one of the most familiar buildings, he had been in.

A brow arched, and her smirk only broadened. "Ms. Jenny Westheaven, you could never understand my deviously perfect mind. As for staying away from 'revenge'. . .? That is simple, really."

Her head canted to the side a bit, gaze of ice blue thinning a bit as she watched the older female.

"Your best bet is to stay out of my way, unless I specifically ask for you. If, and when, I ask for you, you are to respond to my beck and call immediately. Whatever I ask of you will be done perfectly, and if it is not done perfectly, you will face the consenquences. Is that easy enough for you to understand, Ms. Jenny Westheaven. . .?"

"Fire away."

"You couldn't get me a trial soon could you? As fun as paperwork is, I've been looking forward to getting back into court. Oh, it must have been a year since I've said objection..." Emma giggled, and continued "Actually, is that defense attorney still causing problems? What was his name? Wright... something Wright, wasn't it...?"

Kante took a sip of the coffee that had been lying on his desk for ten minutes, then spoke softly, "I'll look for a case for you. But I have to deal with Ms. von Karma first." He slammed it down, however nothing spilled out.

Snipe and Richter walked to the first floor seeing, if somebody was there. Both weren't saying a thing. Only boots of the both gentlemen chanted their knocks on the steps, as they proceeded forth. Each footstep left a minor, leather chant to echo from the floors.

Snipe arrived to the first floor.

[My attempt... This could be fun Redd White ]

White car with a staked bat painted on its roof and several other possibly eyebrow rising images in other parts drove into the Block B. Driver stopped to free lot and stepped out of the car. Car's register plate wasn't regular either it was custom registered and consisted only on letters the register "number" was VMP-KLR. There also was rather amusing text on the back sticker "I brake for vamps." You coudn't help but wonder what kind of person would own it. If you looked in through the window you would see several monitors and some kind of computer on it's dashboard.

Driver was a woman with a striking resemblance to Franziska von Karma expect that her hair was blond and longer, it reached a bit over her shoulders and her overall expression was warmer. She was wearing a white coat that reached to her knees, no gloves. In upper part of a coat was an opening where one could see that from there was peeking something which resembled a cross.

She looked around for a bit and proceeded towards the first floor.

Jenny was a bit irked at this younger woman's arrogance, but she did not let it show as of yet. Instead, she stood up straight and put both hands on her hips, smirking widely with her eyebrow quirked.

"Sorry, Ms. von Karma. But, I am no one's lap dog."

She shook her head and held one arm out as if to do a half-baked shrug.

"Get your other little doggies to do your bidding, sweetheart. I'm not buying into that."

With that, she turned around smartly, about ready to walk back to the elevator. But before that, she turned her head and winked at the silver-haired prosecutor.

"Catch you in the office, von Karma!"

And she bound into the elevator, heading down to the first floor.

An annoyed twitch ensued, but she calmly watched the other female run off. Shaking her head, she smirked and waggled a finger as Jenny turned around again. "Well, we shall see, we shall see. I can tell you'll be an easy one to break."

Woman looked around she was thinking something

Should I take the elevator or the stairs?. Elevator would take me there faster but...

She pressed the button and saw that someone was already using the elevator.

"Oh well." She said. "Some exercise for me then" She thought and ran towards stairs.

"It is only four floors anyway... much less than what we had to climb, this will be a cinch."

The sound of the cup slamming into the desk startled Emma, and it was a few moments before she spoke,
"Err... Thanks. So, I haven't had the pleasure of meeting Ms von Karma. At least not properly... Is she like her father? I thought we'd had enough of the von Karma's after the Edgeworth trial..."
Emma paused. When she'd left, the trial had still been a sore point in the office. Still, it had been a year, hopefully everyone had forgotten. And despite all the problems the prosecutors office had faced afterwards, she had been glad to get rid of Manfred von Karma. She really didn't like him...
((I'm assuming it's all right to post AA spoilers. We have all played it, right? And if you haven't, what are you doing here?))

"Second... Third... Fourth... Fifth..." Blond woman said and slowed down her pace from running back to walking.

She wiped her forehead with her hand. "It was a bit of a workout after all... then again with everything I'm carrying it isn't a surprise." She thought and opened the door to the prosecutors office.

"... For some reason I get this feeling that something isn't right about this..." She said. "Something about atmosphere in here..."

Jenny sighed as she felt the elevator finally drop to the first floor. Man, what a way to start off the day...getting on the wrong side of a von Karma. She knew that her days were most likely numbered. As she stepped through the doors as they opened to let her off, she adjusting her orange-rimmed goggles and surveyed the scene, just a habit nowadays. But now, she noticed two men looking around that didn't seem familiar to her...and that they also didn't seem familiar with the place. She decided to keep to herself and walk past unless they call her attention.

((Assuming, of course, that Sigmund is still on the first floor.))
