Jay stopped for a second. He grabbed some imaginary mallets (or whatever those things are called that you hit barred-instruments like vibraphones and marimbas with) and flipped them up in the air, catching them by the handle. He began playing the chimes again, the sound much brighter and more resonant.

Jay began playing another melody, this time with slow, calm, sincere motions in his hands, creating a soft wind in the air that seemed to emit a harmonious sound from it. As he played, he kept the slow motion going, altering the wind slightly, changing the pitch of it occasionally.
