Hope this isn't a bother, but is there any chance you can get screencaps of the names of the new characters? You might need to replay it again. I would prefer the names displayed in the upper left corner of the textboxes when the characters are speaking.

Sadly, this is meant to be more of a bare-bones guide, helping out non japanese speakers get through the game with precise instructions so they don't get lost or confused. Croik's going to write a really detailed walkthrough with summaries and spoilers, but it'll probably be a while before it gets done. I know there's a ton of people playing the game and want to get through things right now. Plus this will greatly benefit the sprite and music rippers who need to get through the game to obtain what they need.
I would love to help the wikipedia project, but one of the worst things we can do is run the game script through babelfish and make assumptions of what the statements are. With some of the stuff I do understand and with the help of the visuals, I can kind of get a jist of what's going on, but it wouldn't be accurate. Heck, I've already gotten a few of the names wrong even with some of the japanese guides I've been using.
I've asked myself why are a bunch of people who don't know the language are even bothering to write a guide in the first place. I guess we're just a bunch of fans with passionate hearts burning red!
Top post has been updated with Bolt's extended guide. Can't wait for it to be finished

Hmm, personally I'd prefer not to know any details. I don't know Japanese at all and would prefer to just make it through the game without really knowing anything about what I'm actually doing (but I still wanna see the eye candy, and I'm impatient). That way when I get the game it's more likely that I'd have forgotten the contradictions (because I didn't know them in the first place) and so the gameplay value wouldn't have been completely lost.
But that's just me.

I just found the names of all the characters in Kanji while looking up GS stuff (I typed in 逆転裁判 instead of Gyakuten Saiban)
If anyone can transliterate the names properly, that would be extremely helpful, thanks!
