I learned that it's perfectly fine to use whips and coffee as a weapon against the defense attourney, judge, and the witness.
I learned that it's perfectly fine to commit perjury, the court'll just let you testify again and again until you admit the truth.
I learned that even commiting accidental murder as a child is still going to get you the death penality when you're a prosecutor years later.

I learned that it's (apparently) not rude to slam on desks and point at people while yelling 'Objection!' in their face/or from the other side of the room :edgy:

I also learned that it pays to have a whip on hand at all times.

And... last but not least... if a gun has been fired twice, it doesn't matter if every witness and testimony states otherwise that there was only one shot fired and that the unaccounted for shot could have been made days, weeks or months before hand... the second bullet will almost always magically reappear.

Oh... and I guess I learned that the Von Karma have something of a curse going on...

I learned what ballistics are and where the word 'contradiction' came from. I also learned how different fingerprints can actually be.

Let's see..I also learned that no matter how well you hide a lie, the truth has to come out eventually. You can't hide a lie forever if there's persistent people wanting to uncover the truth.

My favorite law professor said this on graduation day.

"Ok kids, for those of you off to become trial lawyers, remember one thing. The jury remembers who made the trial more fun to watch."

Examples in the real world.

Fred Turner dances.
Lucius Carpenter turns every trial into a faustian opera.
Judge George Dowlen once shot someone.
My dad uses his accent to woo female jurors.
Judge Frank Price does magic tricks.
Dick DeGuerin uses finger snaps and heel clicking to startle people.
Warren Burger acted like a Roman God.

..... wait, what's the courtroom design??? I always thought that the backs of the attorneys are to the entrance, not the walls, in r/l!

One thing I want to do now: Become a prosecutor, and defeat each and every person mentioned on here who are, or are related to, defense attorneys... and I'd even have a catchphrase:

"You think a petty punk like you can beat a member of "The Converted"? "

..... of course, we need more members first... at least 200 more... but the users on this site suuuuure are able to convert 'em!

The prosecution table is only a few feet away from the small patrirition the seperates the gallery from the trial space. I use that.

And you could never beat me.

Hey, I was using it looooooong before ye asked, ese! I simply explained it when you asked... but I like using it anyways.

Also, I have 1 other technique, stealing Godot's "style": A laaaaarge cooler of Water Bottles, and when someone starts to get a head of steam, I crush the bottle, expelling the contents on them.

What? It's WATER! It's not like it'll stain! it'll be juuust like a cold shower!

Agreed to both. I thought the folk tale about where the word "contradiction" came from was pretty interesting, and I didn't know before that bullets had "fingerprints" too.

Here's another. No matter how long it may take you to find that last piece of evidence or get info out of the last witness during investigation (may it be hours or days...), you will always make it to court on time the next day without feeling the least bit sleepy.
On April 3, 2016, Court Records Forums experienced a miracle upon that day.

Serious option: I learned that there is no such thing as a perfect lie.

Comedy option: I learned that it's okay for lawyers to break into crime scenes and take some evidence, as long as it's all going to be used.

None taken. It's just how I end my closings. I borrowed it from my dad, who in turn borrowed it from Ernie Ernst.

It's more of a humanizing thing. It paints me as being sympatheitc and caring. Plus it sounds great when delivered by someone with a Texan accent.

Also, I have a small knuckle fracture from punching my desk all three times.

1. If our own real justice system decides to shorten trials to 3 days max, we shall all hold a protest.

2. In the world of PW, anything can happen.

3. Cases can go in any direction possible.

4. The defendant's life rests on not much so on their innocence, but the skills of the lawyer.

5. Perjury punishment does not exist in the world PW.
