Well, Hoshi has dusted off her really rusty spriting skills...

...And has managed to complete the feat of removing Viola's head bandage AND reshading her hair. (What a mess...) Oh, and I made her smile a little bit bigger than before. Why is she smiling more than usual? Well...look at my avatar. XD

And here she is with her eyes closed.

And although I doubt this really counts as an edit...for anyone considering KristoVi banners/avatars/yoofahs/misc., here is my avatar with no effects or bg.
Image

Quick edit that's probably already been done, but...Viola's a cowgirl!?

That's all I've done of Phoenix Wright edits.

Nice concept! You did a nice, clean job of removing Viola's bandages. And I thought The Doctor was the only KristoVi supporter on the forum, lol ^_^

Zizzo actually made a bandage-less Viola sprite per my request, it's a few pages back.
I'm still alive, don't worry!

@PhoenixAshes: Thank you for nice commentary! ^_^

@Yuki: Thank you for the compliments! And as for someone beating me to the punch as far as bandage-less Viola goes, I would have made my own edit anyway. (I mean, it's against spriter moral code to take someone else's sprite for an avatar, not to mention I had something specific in mind. (The whole slightly bigger smile thing and all.))

@CarChaseCityMan: Thank you for the compliments! And I have some experience with sprite editing...Used to be a big fan of the Rockman series, so I got my start there. (And it helps to be a bit of a fanartist as far as sprite editing goes...You know where to shade things, etc.)

One thing though...

Violet's eyes are REALLY shaded. I love the eyes, but they're a bit too dark in my opinion. Don't go through all the trouble of re-doing them, but I just noticed it. It looks like she hasn't slept XD

They are sorta shaded, but that's left over from the default sprite. So that's an errata/decision from the Capcom sprite designers, really.

The high hairline looks a little strange. I always took it that the bandages acted as a headband of sorts as well, pushing the hair further up on her head, but otherwise these are all gravy.

...Why, no, I'm not about to appropriate these for ViolApollo >o> Why do you ask~

Actually, Bee, I have a bit of an explanation for this high hairline. See, I've noticed that victims of head injuries (like Viola's) tend to not have hair in the area they were injured in- especially if there's a bandage in the way. They probably had to do a bit of surgury to reconstruct her head, so my theory is that the reconstructed skin is still a little too...how should I put it, fresh to the world to have proper hair growing on it.

But then again, I'm no surgeon, and my explanation's probably some sort of clever disguise to cover up how lazy I am D:

Twenty years into the future I'm sure they could easily implant healthy follicles. My main concern is that it... does look the slightest bit lazy.
