I hate to say it, but it might be a problem on your end. I'm switching between IE and Firefox now and they both view/can use the forum just fine. Are your browsers up to date?

I don't know about Opera, though.

Yes Firefox and Opera are up to date and I don't use bollocks firewall shite.

The IE I am running is 6.0 on XPSP2.

If it's entirely a problem on my end it's on two different computers, on two different networks, on at least two different browsers and two operating systems. I have had no problems whatever on any of these computers or systems till the changes to the site recently.

As an ex net-admin it seems unlikely to be all this end to be realistic, although some of it may be, granted. But not sure I want to make swingeing changes to my browser and OP set-ups just for one website, IYSWIM.

I note other users are suddenly experiencing problems with Opera as well.

Not sure about the Firefox issues as I don't want to roll back to an older version if I can avoid it. I'll see if I can get on enough to detail the issues on my Vista machine.

Colleagues Firefox 2.0 on XPSP2 won't let me use any of the buttons in the post formatting bar like "spoiler" or "Quote", so same error as with the IE6.0, basically, just no yellow triangle. Will try newer version on a different computer.

In Firefox, have you tired clearing the cache and cookies?

As for Opera, I also don't have PM buttons or edit buttons. I don't know why, but Opera can't seem to render them any more (and they don't stay at the bottom of posts in Firefox either [never have], so they're pretty messed up all around).

No problems in IE7.

I have absolutely no problems with my Firefox 2. Everything works like they have worked before.

Alright, I've found what the problem was in opera, something about the Z-Index it didn't like. That should be fixed.

As for your problems in IE and FireFox, I've been unable to recreate them (in FireFox) and been unable to find anyone who has the same issues you do.

Well it seems to be okay now on Vista/Firefox 2.0.0.11 - uograding Firefox on here to 0.11 seems to have sorted it.

It's just not happy on my XP computers when it comes to the formatting options for posts. Which is odd, and a new development.

Now I've switched to Linux (Daryna), the pages in Firefox look better than the ones viewed using Opera.....
